That bumper is starting to look real good. I am local but I don't return to Hong Kong until early May and I fear that would be too late, otherwise I would be more than happy to test fit.
I'm probably one of the few that prefer the bumper with the LEDs, so I'm still interested in having a good looking set of LEDs on the bumper. The new E class ones look decent, not sure if that has been considered yet. *subscribed*

A thing I heard from W212 section (this thread)is that the LED dims at night so that it won't be too bright to see at night. Might be something to consider for this project. Either way those are great looking bumpers!

unfortunately i've sold my 63 .. otherwise, i think i'd be the 1st to fit this awesome bumper. anyhow, i think it shouldn't be a problem in finding one locally to test fit and that shud be the best way for everyone.

A picture upload failed. But it's a 2010 C63 AMG DTM Safety car. So with the nice lookin' bumper, 19" alloys and the new mirrors. I love this car really.

Hey Dads C63,
They are still awaiting for the Scirroco LEDs I ordered to arrive. I had them shipped Express 2-4 day from Germany directly to Revozport almost 2 weeks ago, but since it was a special order item I'm not sure how much extra time that takes. But in anycase, I told them if they don't show up this week to proceed with the bumper. I hope everyone is ok with that.
They did order the E63 LEDs, but as I suspected due to the shape of these, they don't really fit the bumper well without major modification. I think if we really wanted to go this route, we would have needed to tell them to make an E63 bumper replica made to fit the C63. But I guess that will have to be another project for someone to tackle.
Also, Ken wanted to mention that if someone wants to have the lip and/or side vents in carbon fiber, but keep the rest of the bumper in fiberglass they can do that as well. So basically, you can paint the bumper leaving the carbon fiber areas exposed, and it would be a bit cheaper than having the entire bumper in carbon fiber. The price for these options would be:
$200 for side vents in carbon
$200 for front bumper lip in carbon
So by next week, I think it will be a good idea to have everyone who placed deposits to finalize their order one more time with Revozport, listing all the details of what you want/don't want on the bumper. But I'll be sure to announce this again next week, and go over all the options again.
Also, regarding the fog lights and sidemarker lights, what we need for these is a basic load resistor kit to simulate the wattage of a filament bulb. Something like the following: http://www.putco.com/products.cfm?ac...c-b9c2f6222048
I will try contacting some vendors who carry the Brabus bodykits however, and see if they could supply us with the simple plug n play load resistors that dacls63amg said came with his bumper. I like the idea of just being able to replace the bulb with one of these without any splicing of the wiring.

Ok guys, we are moving onto the final stages of this project...finally I know. Revozport just wants us to confirm our options again, and I know a few of you have already PM'd me with this info, but here they are again:
1) Parking Sensor (Yes/No)
2) Headlamp Washers (Yes/No)
3) Carbon Fiber front lip Inserts (Yes/No) $200 If you select no, this recessed area will be filled in and it will simply be flat.
4) Entire lip in Carbon Fiber (Yes/No) $400
5) 2 Side Vent slats in Carbon Fiber (Yes/No) $200
6) Primer - Default will be Grey. If you want Black primer they can do this at your request as well at no extra charge.
The metal mesh grilles will be included but not attached to the bumper for easier painting. They are replaceable in case of damage from road debris. I was asked several good questions about the grille which I will need to find out about regarding paint or powdercoat, steel or aluminium, etc.
So if the remaining of you could let me know the following options as posted above, I will be sure to pass this information along to Revozport.
Thanks again, and we're on the home stretch now!

Where's the option for the fully carbon fiber bumper? ![Frown](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/frown.gif)
I sent my deposit in hoping for...
Full CF (with side vents and front lip just the way it is on the safety car bumper)
No Side Markers
Headlight Washers
No LED's

I feel like there's an echo in this thread but I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE THE FINAL PRODUCT. Anyone have an idea if its legal in California to have a car without fog lights? Also our stock grille won't work with the bumper?

I'm getting pretty anxious too now
Just to let everyone know I forwarded the options you guys sent to me to Revozport, so I should be getting word real soon on the final pricing for each individual bumper configuration, minus the deposit of course.
Also, Revozport said they will be able to test fit the bumper locally which is great news. This should lower the chances of any of us needing to send back the bumper because of fitment issues.
@ Danny Boy - I don't think no fog lights would be a problem. If I remember right, I don't think the M3 has fog lights, unless they are hidden somewhere I can't see? And yes the stock grille will work with this bumper. At least it better haha!
