Why does the dyno chart say E55?

Still very impressive.

Am I reading the chart correctly as it says Brantley 09 MBZ E55 - is this chart for a C63 or a E55 (not sure about 09 part) - please clarify.

+1

E55 or C63?

Whatever the vehicle, those are some healthy numbers.

I'm pretty sure that's a c63. One of my dyno operators input E55, for whatever reason.

Isn't that red plot on nitrous?? That's some serious whp..

looks like the nitrous was injected around ~4500RPM?? What kind of setup? Dry/Wet? RPM window switch?

you have a picture of the full graph from 2500rpm to redline? its pretty narrow portion of the rpm band. very impressive numbers for sure with a nice healthy HP plateau past 6000rpm

That must be one hell of a shot of nitrous to gain that much WHP...A/F seems a little lean to me on the gas though, but it does richen up as the RPM's increase...

Sorry, about the E55 thingy?????? It's actaully DADSC63.
Yes that's the nitrous numbers, and yes it's a little lean. New tune is on the way. Still in the test and tune stage. We were pulling 588 and still very safe.
Hope to get some new track numbers this week, if weather here in Florida works out. It will be very HOT, but Nitrous don't care.

622rwhp was attained on a 150 shot.

N/A numbers are low to start due to colder plugs and too much octane (nitrous fuel). Nitrous was ramped in slowly starting at 4300rpm (35%) by 6000rpm it was 80% in and 6250 100% in. TQ would have been higher had we hit it 100% at an earlier rpm.

Will be at track running a 125 shot this Friday, then we up to a 200 shot on dedicated nitrous ECU.

You don't spray at 2500rpm you will blow the motor up, in fact with a dual runner intake like these cars have they probably aren't spraying until after the switchover. That's as much of the powerband as you'll see in each gear aside from launch. Those numbers are crazy from a 150 shot, great work Dads and crew!!!

What are you talking about? Before I installed my progressive controller I made over 75 passes on nitrous with a system that was set up to spray at WOT, so basically from about 1900 RPM and up. Been spraying it for two years with no issues and compression numbers that are nearly what they were when the car was brand new.

What I am more interested to hear is what type of set up and jet size, a 150 shot should be making more than 622 on a 63 with heads, my 63 dynoed 619 and change with a 100 shot and stock heads over a year ago...its on You Tube and its posted here on MB World before anyone call BS.

These are some impressive numbers either way, but a 640-650 number would sound a little more realistic to me based on the head mods and the claimed 150 shot jets.

Makes sense, nice to see they programmed the nitrous to kick in gradually, that should preserve the components much better than merely kicking in full strength all at once. You could probably kick in the 80% a little bit sooner but still very strong numbers.

On dynojet comes out to 758.6HP @ crank, very strong numbers
