Wipers
Did a search, many complaints but no suggeestions for Non-OE replacements. Who has replaced their crap OE wipers with something else and not had them skip at all? Which ones did you go with?

I'm not sure that Bosch sells them branded as Bosch Icons directly to the public. I also went to look for replacements recently, and have not been able to find them. You will probably have to get them from MB, as they appear to be branded as an OEM MB part. I know they are Icons (at least on my car), because they are identical to what was on my wifes car (before she traded her car in 2 weeks ago), and I put those on her car.

I actually love my OE wipers. Best wipers of any car I have ever had. Mine is a 2011 so they may be different than previous years. Not to say that they may suck after a few months.

But for peace of mind get OEM. You will be glad when they go smooth...

Sounds like everyone likes theirs - I guess I got a bad one. My driver side one skips and it has for a while.

http://amzn.com/B002ZLCCG2 is the link for the 464's.
Like I said, my understanding is that the OEM ones are the Bosch Icons (based on the fact they are identical). If you don't like the OEM ones.. don't get teh Bosch ones.. but it may be that you got a bad wiper blade. Also note, since they are a wear and tear item, and are easily damaged by using them over things like ice and what not.. that could explain the performance on you're blades

Off topic - but looking at the reviews on Amazon, three out of four gave it five stars. One guy gave it 1 star.
1.0 out of 5 stars Do not work on 2009 Pontiac G6, December 30, 2010
By Larry Martin (Hamilton, OH USA)
"Despite Bosch saying the 462 and 464 ICON blades work on a 2009 Pontiac G6, they do not. The arm on this car does not have a hook as the video shows and the blade does not have a flip up piece, so back to the dealer."
I think his first problem was buying a car from a manufacturer that no longer exists - get used to parts not fitting!

Just went through this myself. Bought the wipers from O'Reilly, took them home, they didn't fit. When I returned them, both O'Reilly and Advance said it was one week to 10 days to get the correct wipers, something like $25 for each. So I just went to the dealer and paid $52 for both wipers (they come in a set). So the price was about the same, and they came with a little sensor to tell me when they need replacing (I suppose not seeing through the windshield is not an obvious enough sign for some people).

MB has been using bosch for many years and they work quite well. Just use the OE replacements as you're likely to have a bad one.
