Some tire options
Here are the options. I believe the car has 18x8 and 18x9 rims and stock tire size is 235/40/18 and 255/35/18.
So I could move up a little in size, but I know moving to a much grippier/softer tire will make a nice difference alone. I worry if I go wider the rim isnt wide enough and with a car of this weight it will make the sidewall flex/fold in high speed cornering/tracking. So either stay stock size or go 245/40/18 and 265/35/18
-Hankook Ventus R-S3 are very cheap, I believe that the A/E Gintani Paul Walker race car run them on their car so they got to be good enough. Dont know much about them thou.
-I have run the RE-11 on the Mini Cooper S and I love them! Very stiff side wall w/ amazing turn in and this is what many say.
-The AD08 I dont know much about, hear they are comparable to the RE-11 but not as good turn in due to softer sidewall.
- Nitto NT05 dont know anything about

Considering the price point/ kind of tires you are looking at you might also want to consider Nitto. I just put on some NT-01 and the grip is amazing!

245/265 star specs. air them to 39 cold and youre done looking for tires. they are as good as any of those you listed and better than any of those listed in the wet.

Have you thought about the Dunlop Direzza Star specs?
Jeremy was running Nitto NT05's at one point im sure he will be able to fill you in about those tires.

Seems the Ventus r-s3 and the NT-05 are the cheapest and well a member on here has the NT-05 locally so might go with them.

I just picked up a set of Michelin super sports for the rear 265/35/18 and couldn't be happier with the performance so far. $270 per tire and they hook amazing! You should definitely check them out. I'm very anxious to see how they perform at the upcoming buttonwillow track event.

Cheaper, grips better, and lasts longer then the PS2's, sounds like a winner in my book.

Although you can tell by the tread these are not on the same level as any of the tires I listed. But will probably last longer.
Dont think I can turn down a set of nt05 or ventus r-s3 tires for around 700-750 a set, these are pretty much track tires for the street.
I had the Bridgestone RE-11 on my GT3 and they were great, dont need to warm them up like an R-compound, but was way grippier than the PS2. Also have them on my Mini Cooper S and they just made the car so much better than the conti's, more grip, better turn in...

they could do that on any tire. But there is no question even the PS2 is one of the best street/performance tires just so expensive. Seems the Super Sports are 100+ less a tire. I just dont know how they compare in to outright dry performance to the above tires.

The R-s3 should be considered a track or autocross tire.
They get crazy sticky. Here is a photo. Do not plan on getting any mileage from these. Street use, the rears are 5k tops. probably 10K on the front.
For the track I recommend them as near R compound with twice the wear.

The supersport are the only super high performance tires that have a pro-rated tread warranty to my knowledge.
in canada it's 55 000km and in the USA: I think it's 35 000 miles.
with stagered fitment like our cars, since you can't rotate the rear tires to the front, the rear tire tread warranty is only half so 17 500 miles.
Do the math: michelin supersport = great tires + if you wear them out in about 8000 miles you would get the next pair at around half off the price.

Nito NT555 - best for your money. The tires have super grip, great look and great wear rating. I have them on my 09 c63 and wouldn't think twice about getting them again. I went with the 235/40 front, 275/35 rear. Oh and definitely no ballooning.
