I'm pretty sure if you got the inoperable message and fan blowing you should be good to go also.
But yeah, you should be able to feel the difference while driving it.

Just got the unit and I'm trying to run the MyGeniusClient Setup but I always get a "Fatal error" window with this message: "Installation ended prematurely because of an error."
Anyone knows how to fix the problem?

I would try to copy the setup exe to your computer somewhere instead of running it from USB. Can also make sure you're running as administrator.. Right click on the exe > Run as administrator.

Mine arrived today. I didn't get the shipped/tracking e-mail so it was a surprise.
The software installation and updates was straight forward. Getting the file from the car to send to EC also went without a hitch. I used the key rather than the keyless-go button; then just followed the screen prompts.
Thanks to all the people that posted up the process / things to watch out for. You made it easy (a bennefit of being in the last group to get them I guess)

So far, I found that I can do a /quiet setup, which then extract files and create the shortcut, but then the application won't start. This time, I get a "Retrieving the COM class factory for component with CLSID {46148C49-3BF6-4CB0-C114335C9970} failed do to the following error: 80040154."
Edit:
Alright, found a solution with a friend of mine. It seems like a DLL was not registered on my PC.
I had to run a CMD as adminstrator and run "regsvr32 C:\Windows\System32\DWGeniusComm.dll" for it to start.
Hope it helps if anybody else runs in the same problem.
Edit 2:
I also had to copy the Dimsport folder from the Program Files and run the installer for the driver for it work.

Has anyone gotten multiple tune files (ie. 91-octane AND 93-octane) yet or has everyone only gotten the one V3 file? I was under the impression that the whole point of us emailing EC with our requests was for this purpose?

I'm still testing VALET mode.
If you did not receive all of your files, then it was an oversight and please email me your request again.

There is an outstanding valet program file...you can get it free at www.Parkthecaryourself.com. If you are moronic enough to give your keys to some brainless 18 YO valet (etc), you deserve what ever happens to your car. Grow some ***** and learn how to find you're own parking place.
It's not that simple man. There are A LOT of places down here in South Florida (greater Miami area) that don't have parking lots. You have to valet park. There's no other option. It's total

I feel your pain. Living is San Francisco (with the anti car jihadist) finding a parking place becomes an art form. I converted to Buddism to attain a higher level of PK (Parking Karma). Worse case if you have to use a valet, flip an extra $20 and tell him to leave it right in front. I think flashing/unflashing to valet mode is going to get really old really quick.

Even though switching files is quick, it does take a couple of minutes.. Don't see valet mode being used much.. Would get old quick..
Definitely feels faster under 100.. Over 100 not as noticeable to me.. Trying to test the speed delimiter.. Haven't gotten a chance yet..I've gotten 159 when stock.. I only do these runs when there are no cars on both lanes.. I never pass anyone going 100+ if anyone is concerned about safety..
Overall, eurocharged has been great with their product and customer service! I Told myself I would not mod my car for 1 year.. But obviously that was a failure..
