Lost the 2 year battle - Lidar in IL.

The laws are ever changing, and evolving to slow us down, which I have to say. Works.
Two years ago I got a speeder in Chicago in my 2010 C63 (back then) doing 118 in a 55 on Lidar at the 90/94 fork towards o'hare airport by a state trooper. I was attempting to get on to the other highway and an SRT car decided to speed up and not let me by so I naturally and egotistically hit the gas to get on the highway leading me home..... Needless to say, I should have just slowed down and taken my lane.
I hired the best attorneys in town, (those who defended Blagojevich (governor of IL) in the beginning before he went broke, and R Kelly's former attorney) Ed Genson as new the laws call 40+ class B misdemeanor and carries up to 365 days in jail time if convicted.
well yesterday was the last court date, and after taking a plea deal, the judge reversed on some of it and handed my *** to me on a silver platter.
I havent gotten any speeding tickets in the two years since that ticket, but that did not matter too much to him.
I have to check in with social services once a month, and I am banned from leaving the country (which I have appealed) if I am to get ANY traffic violation in this time, he says he will put me in the lock up, for a good 364 days.
Additionally, any ticket I have ever gotten that was vacated or so called "taken off my record" was nicely available for him to see, since 1996, and well..... that didn't work out so well either. You cant bring those cases up in Felony cases but in Misdemeanors, you can. Funny how the law works.
And Crazy! Sad how 10 seconds of lead footing cost me thousands in attorney fees, and a hair away from the worst possible scenario. My attorneys were flabbergasted, said first time in 7 years they have seen a judge not agree with a plea deal.
I guess I will be spending lots of time on the track.

I got hammered with court appearance ticket when i was younger as well.
If you're going to speed, you should know the laws.
50km/h over the limit is an automatic court appearance, so I keep it under that. Worst case I get a couple hundred fine and some demerits.
You didn't even lose your license? How long are you on probation for?

Fine of 300 dollars
Monthly Social Services fee: 50/mo
Requires Court appearance on 9/13/13
I am def getting jammers installed, but I am almost never in Chicago from Sep-May/Jun I head out of town for the winters which is why I am getting an appeal on the appearances.
I am pretty immune in the City of Chicago, just not the highways (Trooper Enforced), one of my biggest clients defends the Chicago Police in civil cases, and I get all sorts of Professional Courtesy within city limits.

Best of luck with the appeal and hit me up ay time you want to hit the track. I live downtown.
You going back to SoCal for the winter?
Accusing the officer of profiling is a pretty harsh charge.

What would be nice is to someday have a certification or special license to travel at higher speeds and leave the left lanes open to those people. Hopefully, in the future, when I am in diapers I bet. Or I suppose I can just move to germany and get my drive on daily.
No sense in looking for excuses or looking back now. I just wanted people on the board, and esp those in IL to understand its not like it was in 10-12 years ago.
The game has changed.

He made up a whole bunch of lie in the arrest report. When he pulled me over, he asked for my ID, when he saw my name, he asked me to step out of the car and put the handcuffs on me and said litterally:
You a$$shole fûcking piece of shït, fücking pu$$y, and then when he searched me he grabbed my ***** like a mother fücker.
So yeah, he profiled me and trust me when I say I wasn't doing anything reckless. I was just accelerating fast trying to listen to the new exhaust note, the day I had my resonator removed. (My arrest is actually the reason why I put it back, was too loud).
I used to drive all the time like a dîck, and many times I would've deserved the ticket for reckless driving, but not this time. I wasn't doing anything really bad. It was an open road, (395 on the way to the beach) and I was doing 70 over 50.... maybe less.
What sucks is that I saw him behind me and thought that he wouldn't care because he was speeding too...
ps in Holland it's similair to america if is speed more then 3 times over 20mph I lose my license.
I was never big into L.A. when I lived out there. Irvine, Laguna * and Newport Beach were just fine for me.

Getting a laser jammer won't make a difference when u zip by them. They can tell what is over the speed limit.
At least no jail time!
What are you a cop?
never drive again? Are you serious? You've never gone north of 100+?
If you haven't, you bought that e63 FOR SHOW. I suggest selling it to someone who has *********.
And maybe you should change that quote under where it says "drives" you RIIIITARD.
