DIY LSD fluid change ?

I have c63 performance package and the manual say I need to do it at 2000 miles and every 40milea after that,

Went to dealer yesterday and he pulled the record and previous owner did not do LSD fluid change at 2000 miles, the car is at 37000 miles

I bought the vacume Mytivac to do oil change and
Is there a instruction how to do LSD fluid on performance package?

Also there is special fluid ? Do you guys know what part num ?

I searched forum but couldn't find any DIY on LSD package

Also what is diff on LSD on performance package vs LSD non performance package

i plan on changing mine out every 10k miles or every track season. the dealer quoted me 1/2 hour of labor and appx $100 for fluid. from what i gather, the OEM fill is a very good fluid and no reason to change from it. i am sure you can pick some up at your local dealer.

I will have my Wavetrack differential install tomorrow. Will try to take some detail picture for you on how to do it.
It has two plugs, one on the bottom will be drain plug and one on the side will be refill plug.
You will fill the differential up until it spilling out and that all. Prop take a 2 quart.

MY understand is,
unplug the drain and let it drain,
pull the fluid on the other plug using oil tube or something...

so can i reuse my plugs or i have to replace it ?

I reuse both of my drain plug. I just clear the up and apply silicon before i put them back in.
The differential take about 1.5 quart. You will see it spilling out when it full.
