6 psi of boost will destroy that motor, it has a high Cr to begin with
it is running on E20, not gasoline, not 91 octane, not 93, not 100, something like 110-120 right?

let's see the stock numbers vs. the new C63 before we pop the champagne
again, don't know 'terry', but sounds like BS generated to sell tunes
don't take it personally, lots of con men and charlatans out there

oh god... he's a war hero, casanova, world renown engineer, collector of expensive vehicles, and now a TUNER

yeah 6psi will destroy that motor... that's what they said about the n54 a few years ago. Who cares if he destroys the motor? It's his car, it's his research. He's helping the community.

e20 is nowhere near 110 octane, let alone 120. An extra 10% ethanol isn't going to turn your car into a rocket. It's not like he wasn't transparent about what he's running anyway.

all i said was that it seems really quick and moddable. now you're on another crusade to shoot down some tuner you know absolutely jack sh*t about.

even with all bolt ons that doesn't seem realistic at all... but whatever. just more irrelevant info to the discussion at hand.

The weight of c63 sedan is quoted at little over 3600lbs at http://www.mbusa.com/mercedes/vehicl...egory=OVERVIEW

Once on the page, click dimensions and it is the first entry.

Why? Marketing is all about the numbers these days
With those numbers and low weight should run 11.5/120+
We'll see
+1

Something is way off here. I bet no one around the country will see a 400+ dyno.

Also these numbers does not compute,

2.4 60'
12.2 1/4 mi
125 mph

Yea headers do.

MHP is a whole different story. Just do a search. Replace MHP products with MBH products and you're good to go.

I cant be bothered to read the whole thread, cos I cant be bothered to slog through the babble of certain individuals so I apologize if this is not relevant but...

6 lbs of boost is diddly squat. I ran a 335 with an N54 and the JuiceBox (Burger Motorsports JB4) for almost 3 years. I ran on 94 octane, map 5 with 15 lbs of boost alla time and that motor never grenaded. It ran like a sewing machine. It felt like it could do it til the end of time. No problems. At all.

BTW interesting to note that the new AMG 4.0TT has the turbos on the inside and has no oil pan. Thats pretty freakin cool.

Soooo...... a little exhaust work*, some unsprung weight savings*, race battery*, lighter hood and trunk, and drag tires*

*things pretty much every guy running at any street legal night has

Not exactly 'crazy' with the bolt ons.

Dude, (and PurpleHeartAMG I am NOT talking to you) just wondering if when you chew gum you have to drop your pants to stick in your gum. Cos you are talking out yer azz all. the. time.

Its tedious watching you ruin quality thread time after time, all cos you love to Troll.

Very nice, 424 rwhp is impressive in stock presence. I like the fact that are gauging the power in RWHP "to the wheels". I can't stand this BHP "motor HP" talk. With all my sports cars over the years no one ever talked BHP (The C63 is the first that is gauged by BHP)... it has always been what it makes at the wheels, the way it should be!!!

M4 is an awesome car, perhaps I will sell the P31 Coupe and replace it with the Twin Turbo M. I am a big fan of forced induction engines over NA. Always have been.

The M4 rated at 3400 lbs and making 424 rwhp is in fact NOT a 125 mph car in the 1320 ft. No way.

I had a FD rx7 that was right around 500 rwhp and weight 2700 lbs and that car consistently can 10.80's @ 130-134 MPH.

Taking the BMW's weight and HP to the wheels it should be around 118 mph car in the 1320.

Ok, that makes sense.

I'm thinking no way, that car traps 125 mph off the show room floor.

Just read on another forum directly from terry that when he ran the 124.x he was on E25 fuel and the power was closer to 500 wheel. Again remember this is in STD correction not SAE

Did map 5 keep boost at 15 or constantly adjust? I had a 135, jb4, dps and I was under the impression map 5 would continuously adjust to whatever the environment etc had going on.

Ever put in e85?

That n54 is a great little motor

with FBO and meth, it's noticeably quicker than my c63. sure handles better than the c63 after all my suspension mods.

But for some reason, the c63 is way more fun to drive.

I'd like to tune the c63, but i cringe when thinking about supporting these tuners who are so secretive about what they do. There's no analytical way to compare the tunes.

I notice people just buy blind on these forums based on what "the other guy" says it feels like.

come to think of it...my c63 dyno'd like 413 whp / 390 wtq stock ...so eh for a 2015 car "M4" the numbers aren't THAT insane

Tofu you still haven't tuned? Man...just do it...I own ALL the tuners, I've had a tune for 1yr+...0 issues beside the car chugging gas more then the local indians chug beer, you'll never get EC or OE to just hand over there still..but if you notice EC has something like 7,000 customers with I don't think any have had issues
