Critique my 1/4 mile run
Went to the strip last weekend. It was hot and humid, low 90's and around 80% humidity. 2014 sedan, deleted secondary cats, deleted carbon filter, Eurocharged V6 tune. Best I could do was a 12.327@114.45. This was at rockingham dragway in NC. Almost all my runs were done using race start, had some tire spin off the line but not a huge amount. Track was pretty sticky and well prepped. I noticed I got my better 60' times with the AC on (kept forgetting to turn it off). These runs were on Continental DWS06 265/35/18 at spec air pressure. I plan on going back sept 9th and hoping for some cooler weather. Should I lower my tire pressures? What have y'all found the best way to launch? I tried just using S+ mode but definitely didn't get off the line as quickly and with the MCT I had trouble holding the brake while trying to pull the RPM up. Race Start seemed to be the way to go for me. Any tips would be great, want to get into the 11's which I thought I would be at with my setup.

Race Start is junk. Plenty of threads on brake boosting.
Rear tire pressure way too high (24psi)
Turn off AC
Put trans in M and shift 500rpm before redline in each gear
MPH too low for 11's

In M should I run in Sport, Traction Off, or Dyno mode? For the posted run, AC was off.

Second that race start isn't the way to best times. Manual mode, brake boosting, and pedal control is the name of the game.
Practice. lots of it.
Also -- If you want better times a second set of rear wheels / tires and DR's will help as well depending on how often you want to go.
Traction off

Traction on SPORT. If you turn it off you're just going to spin off the line.
Drag radials are a waste of time until you have much more power. You can't get up on them at your power level. Hot sticky and dry street tires are fine.

Looks like you need some boostane, intake spacers and a v7 tune.
Jokes aside these mct cars are hard to launch, i tried launhing my bros 507 on DR and after the third try i got pissed off and left. However BLKROKT has been kind enough to explain the correct way to drag the car.
"24psi in the rear, 55psi in front. Avoid the water and do a huge burnout and hold it for 5-10sec once your up on it in gear. The launch is the trickiest part, and you have to powerbrake it just for literally a second then go. Don't time the light, who gives a sht about that. Stage, powerbrake when the first light comes down while mashing the gas, and release the brake after just a second you should launch at around 3k rpm. Sport traction with trans in manual, shift 500rpm before redline. You can do 1.7 60' on street tires. Drag radials are a waste of time unless you have more power IMO"
Can't get any better than that.

Went back
Back to the track last night. Cooler temps, new V7 tune and lowering the rear tire pressure to 30psi. Impossible to hook tonight but managed a 11.98@118mph. My goal going out there was an 11.99999 and I got it!

60' is 1.9 on both so you didn't make up anything on the launch. Seems like most of the time is made up on the big end. Pretty good time on street tires with a tune only.

Yeah they are continental DWS06 265's. Ran them at 30psi, but when I was running them at the factory 41psi I was cutting the same 60'.
This run compared to last run.
10 degree cooler out this time (74F vs 84F)
30 PSI tires this time (41 last time)
V7 tune (V6 last time)
Same track, same time of night (around 9pm)
Exxon 93oct both times
Both using race start.
Gained 4mph and .35s in the 1/4
Not bad!

You might be referring to their original version of DWS (all season) or their DW (summer).
