PFL Fog light brake cooling ducts mod HELP
My search-fu May or may not be weak. I’m novice wrencher. Was hoping someone had done a diy for pfl brake duct mod but can’t seem to turn up anything. People have done it I’m sure but I’m only finding stuff on FL. Ours has gotta be easier right? If someone recalls a link that would be awesome, or a general walkthrough on what would be required even. Much appreciated. I’m interested in tackling this for more track days!!

I think the only issue you might run into with a PFL is the oil cooler that is in place behind the grille on the passenger side.
You can see it here with the front bumper + inner fender removed, you might be able to find a way around it but with the inner fender and everything installed it might get in the way of a duct

Interesting thanks. Anyone out here with experience with this mod?? I only got the idea because I thought I saw a pic somewhere with a german C63 having done it, but now I can't find the company/post.

Ahh, found it. All mod roads lead back to BLKROKT thread.

This is what I'm referring to. I think Jim had said at one point he was working on brake ducts but never saw that project completed. So far, it looks like piecing together components and playing with the bumper is the way to go.

DADS C63 did some brake cooling mods but I can't remember if it was after his BS conversion or not. let me poke around and see if I can find it
Edit: Here is what I found. I'm not sure where to get the velocity stack that would go on the bumper like you saw on the German car. They are probably universal pieces you can find and buy once you measure the opening.

Thanks. As I see it the issue is not so much rigging to the fog light hole, but to attaching to the backside of the brake rotor. Not sure how people do that kinda thing, or just "aiming" the hose at the back of the rotor?
