LTH with remaining factory exhaust
Hi guys, I searched and was only able to find one video of what I am thinking of doing.
Does anyone have LTH with the factory sec cats/res/mufflers afterwards? Not looking to go toooo crazy loud.
Thanks!

LTH will be crazy loud with the factory mufflers no matter what. They act as trumpets. Just different levels of loud. I have LTH and catless mids with x pipe to factory resonators and mufflers. When you get on it it’s very loud. Just driving around town highway light throttle not much change over stock. I love the sound. Having the secondary cats on will def tone the sound even more, but anyway you cut it it will still be loud.

I'm actually looking to install LTH headers as well, but I have Mike's power pipes installed in place of the secondary cats.
Debating on whether to install the headers in my current setup or replace the power pipes with a X-pipe.

I need more POWAAAAA. Will wait for the supercharger in the summer I guess. I don't want to change the noise too much so will probably buy Mike's pipes to tie me over for now...

I currently have ARH setup catless with resonater and stock mufflers. Gears 1-3 aren't loud unless you go over 4k. After that the beast is hard to keep quiet haha. Its perfect for me. You can control the loudness easily

That was the final setup I wanted to try.lth with factory second cats in place.
If you go catless the car will be awesome loud but I got sick of being pulled over.
I even had a cop take an exit off the highway and turn around and Chase me down lol.

Do the benzworks headers. They delete first cat and are welded between primary and secondary cat. Leaving 2nd cats, res, and mufflers in tact. They have a hell of a deal if you do install there. They're in Huntington Beach.

This is what I did. I made my own midpipes with Magnaflow 59959 high flow cats and Vibrant 17695 race mufflers to get rid of the exhaust fumes, the drone during highway cruising, and raspy top end from running catless headers. Extra O2 sensor bungs are for my wideband O2Here is my dyno thread where I posted the sound clip at full throttle: https://mbworld.org/forums/c63-amg-w...-sae-corr.html

I have ARH lth with catted x pipe and stock rear exhaust. I think its fine and perfect sound. Light throttle and cruise is relatively quiet and mid throttle sounds mustangish with exhaust. So decent sound. And full throttle is loud but sounds amazing, and is very streetable if you daily.

First link is cold start just after putting headers on, its more true cold start as garage was open and car was 30ish degrees.

Second is warmer not with cold start, idling and revving then burn out.

I have MBH headers as well was waiting for some other people to chime in again lol. Talking about some other headers that are cheaper and just as good. There was a long fight about that.
