RaceDeck vs Epoxy vs POLYASPARTIC Floors

Racedeck (or whatever is equivalent), sounded 'cheap'. Worked well, durable, drained nicely. Could use a jack etc. Was always worried about jack stands cutting into the plastic, so used pieces of plywood under the jackstands. Not ideal for rolling around on a roller under a car..
Had a finished concrete floor at my last place and loved it. Looked finished but definitely not 'fancy'. Was NOT slippery when wet. No issues using a roller/creeper. No issues with jack stands.
Currently have epoxy floor. Gets scratched if a 'pebble' gets under a wheel on the floor jack. Looks GREAT. Is incredibly slippery even though the finish has material to make it less slippery.
I would go with a finished concrete floor next time.
I have finished concrete attached garage and well it absorbs oils and other liquids and just looks crappy.
It will mold, seems to create dust - ad is well CONCRETE GREY color... so boring.
now the detached garage - (Too big for race deck or I should say my wallet is too small for racedeck) was painted with epoxy or something by previous owner.
I like it much better..... it is slippery when wet but not too bad if you wear right shoes or work boots.
Oils do not soak into surface and easy wipe up...
For soem reason easier to find that drop nut or washer due to color is my guess.
Anything with wheels rolls easiers.
Cleans up easier too as dust blows off with leaf blower and out the door
Yes it scratches but that is OK with me as does not happen often
I only wish they would have used the proffessional coatings that have the flake and more slip preventatives added....
Good luck with choice but if you have the $$$$$$$$ look at proffessional stuff - where they come ni and diamond grind fllor and then coat...
I would do that if I had the $$$$$
This is what they use here in Canada https://www.wrmeadows.com/en-ca/liqu...-ultra-canada/
I have Racedeck in my garage. It's OK. I love the colors and options for designing your own floor however it hasn't done well with a jack. I have at least two tiles that are damaged from jacking up my previous car (much lighter than the C63). The good news is tiles are cheap individually and easily replaced one a time.
On the plus side, it's easy to sweep clean, looks great, stuff doesn't get lost on it like it does with epoxy floors. For some reason, everyone I know with an epoxy painted/coated floor says the same thing about losing nuts and stuff that go flying. That must just be a side effect of the common colors and texture flakes they use in it.
I'm thinking about what I'd do if I guy a new place and I'm not convinced I'd go with Racedeck again even though you can't beat the look.
Thanks for the input... of course my project costs are exploding and now we are considering new doors too ... ugh

The clearcoat would have worked better with sealing the concrete and I should have bought double the recommended per square foot quantity of paint, as a review suggested.
Also the drying of the paint is tremendously fast, just as all review say. You gota move quick with the painting operation.
I researched repainting and found some indication that I can paint over, I plan to do this right the second time.
It does cover cracks in the concrete quite nicely.
I see that now there are outdoor kits as well and I would consider painting the driveway in maybe a gray color. I was thinking about what this would do in the winter, especially with the clearcoat, but I tend to think that the ice would adhere less and that I can salt the driveway without fear of cracking the concrete. But it could be a lot more slippery in light rain, or sleet.
Not sure what to do with this...
They are tiles, they don't fit seamlessly together so that the seams are invisible. They have matte vs gloss finish tiles and seams might show up more with the glossy finish but I don't think it makes a difference really. I have both finishes on my floor and you can see the seams no matter which it is.
