i see terrible communication and poor customer service. I do not see a scam. People can draw their own conclusions based on the thread, but that is my assessment.

Take peoples money, do not ever deliver the purchased items, keep feeding false promises and brush them off, avoid calls… What is missing to have a scam scenario?
"So sorry" doesn't address the ongoing issues I've experienced with you/Mode Carbon. So far you have continued to fail on the promises and commitments you've made. You can offer all the apologies but this will not be resolved until my complimentary set of vents arrive.

Hmmm.... ok, what is your interpretation of a situation where a vendor takes your money yet doesn't deliver product, makes continuous excuses, doesn't refund money and then goes dark for months. Certainly felt like scam until he finally contacted me recently.

This thread needs to stay open until this is fully resolved and even then, I hate to say it but I don't think this will be the last thread of this kind. It's reasonable to have manufacturing/production/shipping delays as that can be easily addressed but the recurring issue is the incredible lack of communication and overall laggard service.

On top of asking someone to remove a thread to get the parts they paid for already.
He filed a chargeback and got his money back not sure what the problem is any longer.

Likely some sort of learning disability when you don't even understand how bad that is. Maybe long term damage from a car accident or something...
This is STILL NOT resolved - Sam offered complimentary parts, told me they'd arrive in ~3 weeks and its been about 8 weeks with no parts, no communication. PATHETIC.
that's funny, Sam is portraying this to me like all is resolved.
@Robb M. I was surprised to see his product showcase threads re-opened while there are still unresolved matters. In this thread alone there are 4 members that have complained and I don't believe they have been made whole. Believe me, I wish it was resolved - he just has to actually follow through with his commitments and at this point, its fulfilling his offer to ship complimentary parts for the inconveniences he's caused. Its not difficult nor unreasonable. I will definitely status this thread if it ever actually gets resolved, but as I said previously, this is NOT resolved until he delivers.
