If i listen to proper live instrumental music from a CD for example (with the EQ tweaked to max the bass out and cut the treble and midrange ) it sounds pretty epic , otherwise for electronic music it is quite average in comparison.

The best you can do is better quality speakers, amps and get yourself a decent a/d converter and be amazed. Have it tuned by a good shop.
I’m also very disappointed in the Burmeister system. Considering how old this thread is and mine is a 2019 I’d say they haven’t improved..at al.
of course this is just my opinion and some will be more forgiving but I like to hear the music clearly and the soundstage as easily recognizable.

I have an E450 CAB, so I couldn't upgrade to the ultimate Burmeister for $5000. However, for a cheap option I use the Radsone Hi-rez Player with equalizer from the app store. It does surprisingly well.

While I hate to be “that guy”, as soon as he said bluetooth his whole page can be disregarded. Coming from serious systems with Focals and dynaudio mobile and PSB T5 and B&W home setups I can say with confidence anything going over bluetooth is crap. I don't care how you try to recreate the missing audio, bluetooth just doesn't have the bandwidth to sound good, if you really do want good quality audio look for less to no compression.
