I’m not sure you understand the temperatures that occur inside a turbo housing. 15-20° difference in air going inside the turbo will have no impact on the temp of air entering the intercooler.

Maybe. And mathematically it “helps” to have cooler air going into the turbo, regardless. However, in my experience you can’t feel the impact of cool vs ram/charge/short intake on a turbo car via the butt dyno. It’s all about volume via low restriction.
Oh well. Looking forward to finally seeing the BMS product. Would love to see delta results on a bone stock vehicle, then on one running JB4.
Concurrent with that, it would be nice to have up-front guidance for JB4 users as to map usage and parameter tweaks that should be made, if any at all. I’d imagine there’s a chance it could lean the AFR a bit, especially when reaching the upper limits of fuel open loop safety/limits, if it unrestricted flow as much as been implied in prior posts.

Payam, what’s the situation? Figured I’d have this in plenty of time to test and do a write up at Slipstream next Sunday at Pocono raceway, but now it looks doubtful unless these are shipping ASAP and via a quick method.

And now I’m deploying today. I was super excited to order one and get a test ride in before I left :/

All their dyno runs on their site already have map 1 with and without intake installed, running e30. So you can at least get map 1 numbers from there. Basically it swaps 20-30 lbft off peak torque in exchange for the same peak HP

The maps using E30 that BMS has shared were done using map 3,4, or 5 I would guess. Not sure if they have actually stated which map was used…
