Pops and crackles
I’ll post photos soon. I’ll also post my translated instructions document for the ASR.
1. Open the trunk
2. Lift the floor of the trunk, remove the lining on the right side closest to you
3. You'll find a connection for which the wires are matching to the color of the ASR module's wires
4. Disconnect these wires and place the ASR module in between
Done. Super easy.

Which controller remote type did you go with? Any thoughts on which one to pick?

if it were up to me I’d get the one with the numbers, it seems much more intuitive to me.
emailing them I never got to choose. I got the one with the locks. Doesnt really matter, you’ll only ever be pushing one button lol
That’s too bad.
There is another company that makes an identical product. Its been discussed in this forum. Can’t remember the name but it should be cheaper than 620.
I remember before I put the ASR module on, it would stop after 1, but now I could do it almost back to back. For reference I had it on right after break in for the past 1500+ km
But also, please note, I've hadn't had any issues with the exhaust, I get cracks and pops in sport+ any time I'm over 3k rpm while letting off the throttle - so your mileage may vary against mine
my car is a ****ing shell of itself. i can confirm literally each and every complaint here on this thread, it sounds muffled in sport+. the burbles are still there, but theyre muffled. if you have a pre-facelift, absolutely opt out of every single software "update" they want to give you.
Finally got mine and installed it. Now THIS is what this car should've sounded like from factory. Much louder at idle and while driving around with a nice deep growl. The car also backfires like no tomorrow in S+ revving. Makes me think the ECU detects a change in the exhaust freer flowing.
Also, this car absolutely pumps in fake sound lol. Mercedes did a good job of trying to hide it. Tested while on the highway with about 30-50% throttle. With the stock exhaust button on/off, there is a very noticeable fake noise that appears in the cabin when throttle is applied. Doesn't show up while revving in park.

The box it arrived in lacked in bubble wrap and was crushed and ripped when I got it. Module still worked fine though, and I nicely got both versions of the remotes.
Only ASR. I don't think I personally need any additional volume, very happy with the results
