As the former owner of a 2015 CLS63S in Designo Alanite Grey Magno, I can personally attest to the fact that Alanite Grey Magno does not show water spots, fingerprints or even dirt! The only way I knew when my car needed a wash was by the chrome or the glass (or when I accidentally rubbed up against the fender). As for it being difficult to maintain, that is also not true: simply wash with the proper non-residue shampoo that's made for matte paint and rinse and dry. No waxing necessary - ever. Just don't rub it hard because you might shine it up and remove the texture of the matte finish. It was actually the easiest car to maintain that I've ever owned. By contrast, my 2018 C63S Coupé in Designo Selenite Grey Magno did show dirt because it is darker than Alanite which looks like natural metal.

Do you guys know if the partial shutdown will have any affect on the cars getting through the VPC? A lot of US Customs was deemed essential, but other agencies like the EPA, for example weren't. Just wondering since there will be a lot of cars (including mine) from a lot of manufacturers hitting our shores over the next couple of weeks.

I bought mine at MB Plano. Park Place Dallas were “too proud” and wouldn’t talk to me about a deal and wanted $5k non-refundable. No way.

My experience with Plano was great. My SA, Todd H., was great and very responsive.

2019 AMG C63 Sedan (Gone and wont be missed)

I just got good and bad news. Good news is that I have a build date, bad news is that it is March. I placed my order the week after Thanksgiving, so it's looking like a little over 3 month wait if everything works out. My order is for a C63 not an S.

Got some good feedback from the dealer today "Ed Hicks Imports" and they're offering a loaner and paying the first months note. I think this is fair but I'm still hoping my car gets here sooner than later.

Congrats! How long was your car in port? Which port did it arrive in?
