Coil pack/changing plugs

I need some advice, wisdom and experience for this question.
Question is: what is the success rate or rather, at what rate can the coil packs be removed and spark plugs changed and successfully put back on and functioning 100%?
My left coil pack went out it was an original pack, my Indy shop put on a the new one from the dealer and new plugs it runs really good since those plugs have been replaced I know the right one needs the plugs replaced but I am scared to remove it to change the plugs.
It cost me $1995.00 (rounding up by .27cents) for diagnostic, new coil pack, spark plugs and labor. I don't want to have to shell out another 2g's for the right side but by the look of the plugs on the left they need to be changed, they weren't terrible but definitely ready for a change. It had been down on power but I just thought it was the 104-107 degree heat here that was the issue but after just getting those left plugs changed with the because of the new coil pack it has really come back alive big time I could only image how she would be with the right side plugs changed also.
I just don't know if I should chance it since it is running really good.
I would just wait for the right to go out and do it then but if someone knows a way to do it that gives a significant positive success rate then I might just try it.
Let me know and videos would be great.

I think he posted in another thread that his mechanic will only change the plugs if they also change the coil pack since there's risk it might be damaged in the process and the mechanic doesn't want to assume the risk

If it's running fine now I'd just enjoy it and don't worry about changing the other side

Yeah I was thinking the same thing just leave it alone since it is running really good now.
If some aftermarket company would come up with an individual coil per cylinder like the cl55 they would make a fortune and help us v12 guys out, then changing the plugs wouldn't be like Russian roulette.

The individual coils in the coil pack can be replaced

They sell them on Amazon, they are hard to search for as they don't come up just searching for common words

Yup. Search for "Mercedes ignition cassette"

The manufacturer is Motorking.

That is just a repair kit, I was referring to having actual individual coils per cylinder like the cl55.
So that we can get rid of the coil packs completely and have individual coils per cylinder.

don't think it can be done. you have an ignition voltage transformer that works on the coil packs ans is not set up for individual coils

Speeddriven is working on a conversion kit with thier standalone ECU to run individual coils, but it's not a simple swap or cheap.
