Question Oil cooler fan

Hi

Ive found this option I don't have

anyone added this ? and is the plug to connect this already there ?

Which side is it on? I'll take a look and see if the connector is there on my car.

Probably not though, benz doesn't really do that in most cases.

it's on the right side, close to the intercooler pump

On my car that's an additional radiator, it has engine coolant in it.

My car is not a 65 though, so the oil cooler may be only for the AMG cars.

CL 600 '04, Porsche GT3 RS '08, CLS 500 '05, SL 500 '92
This is a water cooler and just the 2003 CL 600 TT have it. Mine is a 2004 and has not this cooler.

​​​​​​​it is plug and play and you need the bracket, 2 water hoses and a tube under the radiator.

on my car it says A2205000600 Radiator OIL COOLING IN RIGHT WHEELHOUSE

so this is the second auxiliary engine coolant radiator right ? And only 2003 model year had it because they discovered it wasn't necessary in 2004?

here it is, and it has a fan already (I never looked behind)

and it is connected on one side to the main radiator

I believe its an oil cooler on the V8K and a water cooler on the V12TT.


I was tempted to make it a second charge cooler HE, but never got round to it.


One of our members has such an aux radiator on the LEFT hand side as well, just in front of the ABC valve block.
