My cousin looking for some ideas on his CL600. Looked at youtube for videos but nothing really. Wondering how chopping off the mufflers would sound if anyone has done so?

Remove the mufflers on any car that has a M275 motor and it will sound awesome.

you could always couple it with a pair of additional resonators to get that perfect note!

Wonder how much that F1 Exhaust set him back? Sounds awesome but I don't think I'd want to own it. Bet that would get annoying after a day or so.

That's an older s600 V12 in the youtube clip. Look at the intake its N/A not TT. See the headers you wouldn't have that on the M275 motor. There are a few with muffler deletes on the 600s. Also running larger downpipes without cats would be a decent upgrade, but CEL would need to be tuned to stay off. Remember the turbos will always quiet the car a bit.

As mentioned, the Eurocharged ECU/TCU is the way to go. That and a supplemental HE is what I have...It can get you a lot more than what he'd waste on an exhaust. See Sig...

new balance
not much to do to make it sound better, turbos whip the exhaust note. CL600 comes with one pair of cats, a crushed messed up Xpipe, resonators then mufflers. Remove the resonators and replace the rear mufflers.

I really want to make some more sound from my car. I have electronic cutouts on my other car and it sounds amazing, especially being able to go complete stealth mode when ever you need to. Has anyone done that with these engines? Iv'e seen a lot of muffler/2nd's delete, but i'm wondering how it sounds in person, or if it is too loud for daily use.

That F1 sounds is just insane BTW!!
