Front license plate options
For those you unfortunate enough to live in two plate states, how are you mounting your front plate? I’ve used the tow hook mounts on previous cars but this looks it could interfere with with intercooler. My car’s coming in this week and I already told them not to drill anything. I want to avoid resting it on the dash. Zip ties maybe?

I seen many people recommending slybrackets here on mbworld, never tried it myself though.

I have mine attached to the bracket but just sitting in the trunk.
So Ive just been yoloing it for now until someone bothers me. Its been about a year and a half and no problems yet.
Figured if I got pulled over Id just say I got the front wrapped with ppf and they had to take it off haha.

Still waiting on my plates but I checked out the bracket. It’ll fix anywhere on the lower horizontal slat on the grill. So you can center it or have it off to the side. It’s easy to install, the instructions are a little convoluted. Probably going to leave the plate on the dash and see how it goes. If it attracts too much attention I’ll use the plate Mount. Zero drilling though.

I'm from Canada and used the front tow hook to install a RHO-Plate. Even though it says model years 2020-2021, it's still good for the 2022 model.

You will have to set the license plate all the way to the left side (looking anteriorly/straight at the bumper) to not freak out the parking sensor system.
The plate took about 5 business days to get to. They're from British Columbia so it will vary from what country you're from.

Best license plate bracket! I have bought and installed it myself

*COPY THE URL AND IT SHOULD TAKE YOU TO THE PLATE WEBSITE*
No holes need to be drilled!
It is a bit pricey but worth it!
Best way to explain it is that it clamps onto the plastic horizontal bottom part of the grill 💯
Install was a 3/10 not hard at all, I not a master mechanic and managed 😁

Front License Plate
I tried all tow hook brackets and the front sensors flip out (and I am not willing to disable), so I ordered the slybracket. Waiting for it to arrive.

Been using slybracket for about 7 months now. I like it. Without the front plate is way better, but this was the best option I could find. Expensive though!!! But, no drilling needed. I can take it off when I need to.

is that Patagonia Red? Looks way better than on the web site if it is.

Yup. It is Patagonia Red. And yes. It really does look way better than the MB website. But I wanted some color, so I took a chance. In the MBUSA.com, the color looks supper muted.

Sly Bracket Installed
Overall I would recommend but will see in the long run how it does.

Thanks! Finally got the bracket installed. Went with the 2-screw holder and easy to install (although it didn't feel that secure so I drilled 2 holes in the plate and put 2 more screws on the sides using existing holes in the bracket that were not being used, had to pick up some extra screws for that). Seems secure, worked out and looks great, but I just have a small concern that over time it will have an abrasive affect on the horizontal grill slats. I put it offset because I just liked it better that way.
Overall I would recommend but will see in the long run how it does.

Anyway, I had the same concern about the potential abrasive affect as well, So I cut a few pieces of non-slip rubber (or silicon) and kept them between the brackets and grill slats. Hopefully it will do the job, and also it is only a 'potential' issue. Dont really know if I created a solution for a problem that doesn't exist
I didnt modify it with any extra screws as you did, but everything seems secure so far. 7 to 8 months in now.
