The tragedy is we all knew it wasn't gonna work. It's a shame they wasted an entire generation of cars. Yeah, it isn't so much customer feedback than losing customers and lots of money. I had a chat with my SA. Word is AMG lost a ton of money over their misguided decisions. There were plenty of people telling them how dumb it was, but they went ahead with it anyway. What kinda boggles my mind is that they knew very well Euro 7 was coming, yet they went with a small displacement high strung engine that was never gonna meet Euro 7

Hi Everyone,
I just turned 40 and decided to gift myself my first new car in 12 years, upgrading (understatement) from a Mazda3 sedan.
I've narrowed down to a CLE 53, 63 (2027, presumably) and smaller possibility but not ruled out GLC 53.
Questions:
1. Based on the above video it sounds like the new I-6 from the featured GLC in that video will make it's way to the AMG CLE 53 along with the improved (IMO) exhaust sound. I'm willing to wait but curious per prior years, when about do you think the AMG CLE 53 with this engine will be announced and available to purchase in the US?
2. Same question, except when will the 63 be available?
3. I recognize no one knows for sure but about how much more do you think the 63 will cost over the 53? My budget will be around $110k all in US, but Id like to do a few upgrades, not total base.

- The CLE is due for its midcycle refresh (facelift). The 2027 is expected to be that. So if the CLE 53 gets the updated engine, the time for that would be the facelift, so 2027. Provided that was the plan all along, because the facelift is done and is in final testing.
- Same here. The CLE 63 is expected to be unveiled together with the facelift, so model year 2027
- Probably $20k-$30k more than the C63S E Performance is my guess.

I think that's poor writing. That depicted car is the CLE 63 Mythos variant and yes that will be limited, but there's still a regular production CLE 63 expected.

I am not too inspired with the new cars MB has released lately. If you’re set on a CLE, I’d consider the 2026 one. The headlights and front end look great. The all screen and capacitive buttons on the steering wheel are annoying, but I can live with it and sort of appreciate it (although I hate the steering wheel). Getting stars in the front headlights and, possibly the read headlights is a bridge too far. Looks so cheap, tacky, and tasteless.

So the Mythos will get that much horsepower, limited in quantities but the regular one, how much horsepower will we expect?
