So I haven’t had an issue with overheating or performance, but do you feel these “normal” operating temperatures are kinda high? See the photo below. I wasn’t even doing spirited driving and the coolant was just under 200 and the oil was over 200.

You should not have to switch screens to see engine temperature. Dumb design.

Usually especially on regular MB models, it is just a coolant gauge, engine oil temperatures aren't usually shown.

when using this instrument cluster do you not mind not being able to see what gear you are in?

I do mind and that’s why I don’t use the Sport cluster nuch. Silly that it doesn’t show your gear. But I guess if you’re in automatic mode it doesn’t really matter.

The only thing I like about the Sport cluster is that everything goes from blue to red in the MBUX. This is nicer at night as it’s easier on the eyes. I really would like it the MB had the capability of red in the other clusters also.

I know the one in mine is a slightly larger engine vs what's in yours, but these are my cruising temps at ~99° F ambient temperature.

Oil is maybe a little low...

This looks like my CLE53.

Transmission somewhere between 150 and 225F.
There may be an int er cooler between the transmission fluid and the coolant.
This would stabilize the temperature.

Engine oil between 200 and 250F.
Unburned gasoline gets past the rings on a cold start and ends up in the oil.
Water from combustion allways drips past the rings and into the oil.
To evaporate these, you want the oil to run about 212F.
There may be a slight vacuum in the oil pan wich would help.

Coolant between 185 and 230F.
Most current cars have a 195F thermostat that regulates coolant flow.
In addition there are fan(s) that may be activated to blow air through the radiator
and air conditioner condenser.

(A 50/50 mix of Ethylene Glycol and water under 15psi of pressure has a boiling
point of 230F.)

230F boiling point is so low...

This is why I use Evans coolant in just about every one of our vehicles. Boiling point is 375 F @ 0 psi.
