if you think lower is better (like i do), then use DOT1 pads front and rear. You'll be slammed =)

nice exhaust, by they way =)

I got the same on mine. I got E-class 1 in the front and CLK 2 in the rear, I have H&R springs with bilstein sport shocks on 19's, and it sits nice, with no gap. I will post a couple pics.

Man im telling you, with that system in the trunk you need a 3 or 4 pad. With a 2 it will be tucked pretty low.

Right now with the stock springs it looks lowered in the rear. Keep in mind ur tires are gonna shred after 5k if you dont get a camber kit, I tried doin without it for 2 years and I finally took the springs out cuz I couldnt stand the wear anymore lol.

i considered getn the camber kit ..but i was getn a lota mixed responses about it ...n then i heard the front kit can cost up to 1000 and rear another 2-300 so i was jus like *** that lol...n i dont think my drop is even gunna b that drastic that the camber kit would be necessary....ne1 else care to chime in on this from experience??

I got a camber kit on mine. My rear tires would last me about 6 months at best and the front ones about 8 months. My rear camber was at neg.3.5. I got the front and rear camber kit from Kmac for about $800 or so shipped.

Yeah, I thought the same thing with teh camber kits. The front tires wore pretty evenly for me, just get an alignment. No matter what, eventhough HR claims they only drop like 1.5 inches or whatever, it is a big difference, and with that system in the back and #1 pads, its gonna have issues with camber. H &R is known to sag in the rear on our cars, if you want an even ride height I would suggest vogland or eibach, especially with that weight in the trunk.

Regarding #1 in front, I think thats a good idea thats why I used and it looked like this.

https://mbworld.org/forums/classifieds/142351-sale-chrome-19-inch-brabus-deep-lip-mono-vi-rep-w-tires.html

Thats the best thread I could find with pics, it wouldnt let me repost.

anthony - i thought H&R gave the most even drop from what i remember reading up on here? i thought the eibachs would generally be lower in the back compared to the H&R and thats what it seemed like in pics too...? i havent heard that much about the voitgland or wateva ones ..?
and ur drop looks prety nice n even...u used E1 in front n wut # clk pad in the rear n wut kinda suspension u on?

chrisbala - i have no clu what size pads im riding on...it varied on each CLK so i dont know..but ill let you know what size is was and what size i end up using after i do the suspension

FRONT GAP:

REAR GAP:

I think you might end up having a gap no matter what you do because you're on 18's. Unless you do something dramatic to your suspension your still gonna have some sort of gap. I'd like to see how it turns out with the pad install.

From what I remember on the forums, but I could be wrong was,

H &R lowers the back more than eibach.

My car has 1 pads in front and 4 in back. I have H & R sports with koni yellows on the medium setting. I took this setup off since those photos from last year, now its sitting in the garage haha, Im thinkin of doin it on the 430 instead, since its less of a pig than the cabrio.
