How to dimm the instrument cluster lights?

I found it fairly quickly because one of the first things I did was convert my interior to pure white. Of course I own an aftermarket company that does this, but only to Lexus. I had to learn my way around the CLK's electronics when I opened everything and did the conversion.
I got lazy and didn't finish the top buttons above climate. I need to do that. It's fairly time consuming because it is a raw build, nothing is plug and play. If you don't hand build it, it will spot up horribly with those damn screw in led's. I have 30 led's in the cluster and 26 in the climate.
I didn't go after the top buttons since my Alpine has quad illumination and I could choose amber so it does match well.

White dash lights
Nice job, I am planning on changing mine to red. I am finishing the stereo install right now. JVC KD-NX5000 DVD, NAV, Blue tooth, Sirius. I pulled out the factory mic and install the one for the blue tooth in the factory black plastic. So, when I get in my car the radio picks up my phone. Its real nice not having to fumble with it while driving. It also has all the fetures my phone does, so I just say a command and it does it. I have all MB Quartz and I am removing the deck subs for 6 1/2 for the rear. And I have one 1000w 10" for the lows. I just know its going to sound clean. Oh, Im using a Orion 4x400 for the mids and highs and alpine mono for the low. And yea I have a crossover but I cant remember the name at the moment.
Anyway Im glad I was not the only one with dimmer issue. And actully, mine has up and down arrows and with a "R" underneath them. ANd that all I needed to do was to "reset" something and not realize what is was. Thanks again. This is a great web site.
