Quick pics of my new black projectors installed
Updated with new pics of the entire car, inside and outside. They really really really look good. pics dont do it justice and it still looks pretty good in the pics. More pics updated in a reply below
So i bought chrome blinker bulbs so it wouldn't reflect orange. I was riding down the road and when i turned on my blinker it started going VERY fast and i was like OH CRAP the blinker died. so i was mad cuz i just bought them on ebay. Well tonight is the first time i looked to replace it and i can't believe what i found....see pictures (last one).
PS, i personally think the black projectors really set off a black car. They ahve enough light colors and chrome to not have any contrast problem.

What is the source for those projectors? And what type of lamp do they use?
I have the factory HID.
I'd like to convert to a projector, because it will toss more light (that's my my experience so far). Those are some sort of eBayable assembly?

I dont think so but I can find a way! If I get them I will let you know how I get around the problem. The projectors are not made for our xenon bulbs. So what could possibly work is buying xenon bulbs that are made for whatever fitment the projectors accept.
Congrats on winning hottes mercedes at HIN, it was well deserved

All you have to do is cut a place for the wires to go in and buy those little metal round adapters for h7 to d2s/r on ebay. Then you take a knife and trim the d2s/r connector to fit that new h7 bracket and it plugs in. Ohter than that, you trim an opening for the thick d2s/r cable to go in and mount the ballast. You also change the wires out to the input plug for the headlight assembly (from going to h7 bulb to going to input of ballast)
I'm 90% sure it will work, just didn't have time and patience to do it when i had the stuff out.
