My average mpg as reported by the car for the last fuel tank was 17.2mpg. thats for two 4 mile trips / day, 60% of 35mph and 40% of 50mph. I should be able to get more if I drove a bit less aggressive

Guys, don't go by that specially if you have the sprint booster installed. The best way to measures mpg, reset your mileages on the odometer when you fill the gas up. Then on you next fill up, records how many gallons you just filled up and records the mileages on the odometer since your last filled up. Do the math and you get your averages.

Yea, thats true. That's why I have been tracking my fills ups with an app on my iPhone since November. It records the date, $ per gallon, $ per fill up, and odometer reading. Based on that program I am getting over 300 miles to a tank and almost 20mpg.

I'm also recording but not all the time, going by my cars comp I get 17.2mpg. When I was doing more highway runs I would average at about 20.x I bet I can get it up a bit with more toned down driving, but then where would be the fun

the 300+ shows right after a full tank to me too! But just after a few minutes or miles away from the gas station it goes down to 298... 270... 250 and so on...
