rims and tires
I'm looking to replace my stock rims and tires, I have my eye on a new set of Roderick RW2 Cinque/ silver 8.5 front 9.5 rear 19" w 235/35/19's & 265/30/19's. Should I let them pick the offsets? I have stock suspension with the exception of H&R Sways. Will they look okay or will I have alot of room in the wheelwells?

Does this setup going to work on 2004 CLK500?

Diameter - 19''

Front Width - 8.5''

Rear Width - 9.5"

Front Offset - +45

Rear Offset - +48

Centerbore - 66.6

Bolt Pattern - 5x112

I think you'll have to use spacers with that setup

20' rims do fit
Back in Feb i Asked if 20' rims would fit on my clk-500, most ppl told me to go with 19' i really didnt like the styles that i saw for 19' do i ended up getting the 20's currently they are not rubbing
i went 7.5/235/20 in front and 8.5/235/20 in back
this is what the car looks like now. in the next couple of weeks im going to lower it with h&r springs 1.4 in front and 1.3 in back.

Here's the thing. If you use 20" wheels you will need to use tiny sidewall tires to even get close to the stock overall diameter which you can't reach. Therefore your speedometer will be slightly off and also any computer calculations like traction/stability control, etc. that are predicated on that dimension. You will also effectively change the final drive gearing of the car as increasing the diameter is like making the gears longer. You will more easily damage the wheels bc you have no sidewall and you will also have less room in the wheel well so you will also damage fender liners and all sorts of other stuff you don't expect like wires for fog lights that runs closely behind the liners. So can you do 20" wheels? Yes but you better really love looks and be willing to sacrifice functionality, and it would be good to do some research about what adverse effects might occur. HTH

Sj you running a+5 spacer on the rear. Any vibration on the freeway? I tried +5 h&r on the rears before and had to take them off after 30 minutes.

I meant it's at a +5 offset now so it's a 30mm spacer on 90mm studs. no vibration at all.

True. Took 5mm off after 3 minutes on the freeway.

I'm not into form over function, aka looks over safety. Guess I'll keep my oem 17" AMG maybe refinish them in stock or another color or buy the new rims and live with a set of rear rims tucked in (same offset all around).

Anyone know if those Ghost camber kits are still available and where I'd get one? Tired of chewing through the insides of tires.

Yes those will fit.

I'm running 18 x 8.5 ET32 in the front. 2mm won't make that much of a difference.

Those will fit. Pretty pricey though!

You might as well get the same set I bought.

I paid $1800 with tires/mounted/balance/shipped.
