Does Your car have this dash panel?
On My CLK350 I don't have features like the parktronic, (N72/1s8) the rear sunshade (N72/1s9) and whatever N72/1s19 is. But I would like to fill the button area with the graphics anyway.
So here is the deal. I can get this panel with everything, but to do that I have to have a vin number for a car that actually has these things installed.
I have the heated and cooling seats so I'm not worried about that. So, if you have a car with these features installed (S8,S9,S19) If you are willing to share your VIN number, I can go get an equivalent panel from my local dealership.
I would also be willing to buy your panel out of a wreck if you have these buttons on your dash.
Yes I know it will be expensive to buy new. I'm funny that way. Thanks for your help.

Lots of work to run those wires properly at MB mechanic prices. And its custom work, not in the book. Like most mechanics he wants to get cars in and out quickly and the faster he can do that the more money he makes.
But work is slowing down right now. He said call him on Monday. So I may finally get that hooked up. I have only the driver's side with the cooling fans so we may only have to run 1 wire instead of two, but that's minor.

The replacement seat from a wreck came with heat/fan perferated, and multicontour. I bought the pump, hoses, and ucp out of the wreck all together.
The heat was easy to hook up because my old seat had heat too.
So everything was in place for that. the pump had to be installed in the original location for this car, the hoses run, etc. Maybe this week I will get my fans too.

The problem is that on the original buttons the blank plastic buttons are painted black, while the ones in use are white buttons painted black and laser etched so the white shows thru, and the led comes from behind it.
Your decal would be noticably different in finish, and the lettering would not light up.
See the thread below to see all that a person went thru to achieve your goals with a factory finish.

Did you see the ones in the prior thread cited?

Nothing custom except for the fact that my car does not actually have all these features.
For instance, can't have a rear window sunshade on a convertible.

Oddly enough though, although my car is not equipped (to my knowledge) with the interior sensors that can be turned off (button 7 across the bottom row), when I press the button, now that it has a lens that the LED can peek thru, I can see it flash for a few moments when I press it.
I dunno if that is a function of the panel itself or there is more going on there.
I've modified all my buttons and blanks so they actually press. The non stock ones just don't do anything yet.
