Will C350 wheels fit on my CLK 550

I need some new wheels to replace my 17s.

Anyone know if these C350 wheels will fit:

I believe so but im not sure. I think somebody on the forum put those wheels on his 320. If I were you I would look into different wheels because for that price you could upgrade to some nice 18 reps with tires and pocket the extra $500.

Check this site out... they are a forum sponsor and quite a few people have had great results.

I am no wheel expert but I believe those offsets won't work for us. Most CLK wheel offsets are in the 32-35 range, IIRC 25 is actually flush. The C series wheels have much greater offsets. Of course, spacers are designed to remedy this but those are pretty far off.. I guess someone else will have to comment on the viability of a larger spacer. You would need like a 20mm on back though... I personally wouldn't feel comfortable with that but I am not basing that on anything.

Sorry couldn't answer exactly.

W204 wheels are no good for a W209 ~ Offset wrong. W203 wheels will fit.

Wheels need to be about ET36 front ET30 rear.

Thanks for the help. So if I am correct, for the CLK550 I need greater than 35ET. I have the factory 17s on right now, and I am looking to go 18s. If I go 18, is the ET still 35.

Offset would stay the same. the +30/35 range should be fine.

I just found the guy that I thought had them on his 320 and it turns out they are different wheels but look pretty similar.

Scan t the bottom you will see it.

I just saw these from power wheels and I like them.

http://www.powerwheelspro.com/shop/p...roducts_id=541

The are 17s. I actually like the way my current 17s look, but the are rashed up. Decisions decisions... I'm looking to get into new wheels and tires and have about 2k to spend. I am either looking at replicas or used.

Dont buy those...its not worth it. They have very high offset which you going to need at least 20mm spacer for the front & rear . Is your car lowered ? if so, get some 19" ( Stance Sci5) google it if u want to know what it looks like. Look at my sig. pic see if you like those. They are 18" Rep of C63 and i paid $1200 ( tires + rims + balanced ) shipped to my door.

Those look awesome. Do they do those in 18s? My car is not lowered. Where did you get them?

Does anyone have any opinions on these

They are 18" and looks like you prefered OEM rims huh ? but for that price i sill say its not worth it. Again, thats just my opinion. If you like it go for it.

Ok, I should change the title to, will these OEM SLK wheels fit on my CLK550

http://www.ebay.com/itm/370614817621...438.l2649#shId

Let me know your opinions, are the rear tires too skinny? Any known fitment issue? and most importantly, how do you guys think they will look.

Hey there,

I forgot you are really new here and might not have seen this sticky:

https://mbworld.org/forums/clk-class...nt-thread.html

It is a 70 page thread (diverts off course a little) all about people and their wheel/tire setups. It's certainly easier for people to tell you about individual setups, but if you want to understand what will fit your car (and how it will look/ride) spend some time through that thread.

I read through the whole thread last night. Not many people here run SLK wheels.

because of the sizes. you have so many better options in the $2600+ range that would look ten times better. i purchased my daily set of wheels from sonictuning who is also a vendor on here. great price and in sizes meant for the W209.

What is wrong with the size of the SLK wheels. Are the backs too narrow?

I'm not exactly sure of the offset on the wheels but they are one inch narrower all around compared to the typical size you find on a W209.

Ok, maybe I'm missing something. I am brand new to rims. The SLK ones I want are 18"x7.5 front with 225-40ZR18 and 18"x8.5 rear with 245-35ZR18.

Currently my car has 17"x7.5 and 17"x8.5 with 225/45-17 and 245/40-17.

Will that change not look right?

I think you need to take in mind of the offset's, It does not matter what it looks like if the offsets are wrong. I have no clue what the SLK's are.. I went from 17"s staggered to 18"s staggered but I made sure the offsets were correct. I don't use any spacers and wanted to keep it like that.

The first thing that you need to ask the seller is the "OFFSET" of the rims they're selling. And i guess money is not an issue here right ? If so, you have alot of options here...... Now dont just go on ebay and come back post it here then ask us " will this wheels fit or not ? " LOL we dont know until you tell us

Louie,

Are you running the OEM CLK63 wheels right now ? based on your sig pic....

The offset on the SLK wheels are front 43 and rear 36.

My front 17s have a ET of 37 and are 7.5" wide

The front of the slk 18s have a ET of 43 and are also 7.5" wide. So... It looks like I would need a Spacer. Which I didn't want to run. I really just liked the look of those wheels.
