Looking good. Do you have pics of the underside after the install? Anxious to hear a sound clip.

Its not like I have a clk63 or 55 badge on it . Most Mercedes with amg packages like aero etc have these on the trunk .

It's not an OEM option to add the badge regardless of AMG package. If it isn't a CLK55/63, it shouldn't have it.

My $0.02

My friend leased a 2009 clk550 with the amg package and we went to pick it up from the dealer and it had the AMG badge on it . Like I said it came on the car when I got it ...

Rubbish.....at least over here. If you ordered your CLK with the AMG appearance pack or even AMG wheels or whatever when it was new it came with an AMG badge. Much like the M badge on M Sport packaged basic BMWs. Its not saying its an AMG....cus obviously it would have a 2 digit number rather than a three on the trunk (CLK55 or CLK500 etc) its just saying you have AMG parts or the AMG look. Anyone who knows AMG should know the difference anyway and anyone who doesn't wont care either way. BTW....no, I don't have an AMG badge even though I have the AMG 4 wheels as they were not ordered with the car but fitted later....and no, I'm not about to fit one either!

One other thing......its his own car and he can fit whatever he pleases to it. Think I might fit an M5 badge to mine! LOL!

Haha that makes you both posers. I don't believe cars here in the USA come with AMG badges from the factory unless they are AMG cars. Dealers might add badges at the dealership for the hell of it though on cars with AMG appearance packages.

Regardless, take a drive through Queens and Brooklyn and you'll be hard pressed to find a Mercedes without an AMG badge on it .

I like the tips on the exhaust. Looks good.

Again Guys that's what the car came with. Even my wheels have AMG inscribed into them . I dunno If dealers add it on later but that's what came on the car and I am not going to remove it . Again I dont have a fake clk55 or 63 badge . I mean when you see clk500 with an amg you kind of already know its AMG package .

Hehehe I dunno man I'd be suspicious. I'd call BS if every seat didn't have an AMG badge as well.

I like the look of the tips.

To be fair i've seen dealers install AMG emblems at the dealer. The AMG name sales and they can throw a $25 emblem on the trunk and someone will buy it faster than the same car with out it.

2.5 any bigger and I would have scraping issues . The muffler shop also told me since I was at 2.75 with 1 tubes 2.5 on a true dual is still much better.

I didn't want to mess with then because of emission . In ny we have to have state inspection every year . I am not sure if taking those out will throw codes or make me fail my emissions.
