Well right now im on Michelin PS2, i find the tires to be avg. Have not tried to many tire combinations with this car since its only been a year.
The car is hella tail happy, i can loose it quite easily if im not focused. Need to get the power on the ground for more excitement!
My alignment seems to be okay. The car is lowered would a camber kit help a bit on this traction? The lightwieght OZ wheels just made the problem 100 times worse since the wheels spin very easily.
So any tire suggestions, been happy with Nitto555 before. Or would the camber kit be the ticket?

you can try Pirelli Pzero tires, those tire have awesome grips, but only good for 10000 miles, after that they get road noise. , and expensive too...
I think i should start with a rear camber kit before new wider rims or/and tires

not sure how a camber kit will help you with your traction problem. if you camber the wheels out more you will be putting less tire on the road. extra camber is only going to help you on the track. are you tracking the car?
i am running some Kumho ultra high performance tires and with 19x10's and i have no grip issues at all.

You may want to consider buying an IR pyrometer. They're cheaper than tires and will answer a lot of questions that most of us *think* we know. Here’s a write up. I own one. Measuring the temps after a ten minute drive usually points out a thing or two.

What size rims do you have? I went with Mickey Thompson on 16" CCW classic rims for the track...I am not sure if M/T's come in 18" versions for your car (if you have 18"s)...I know no one makes drag radials for 19"s except maybe Toyo R888.

I don't understand how "The lightwieght OZ wheels just made the problem 100 times worse since the wheels spin very easily" contribute to the problem but perhaps I'm missing something. I would think you still have all the weight of the car bearing down so that would be sufficient?? I thought light weight wheels are supposed to be an aid not detriment??? Perhaps its more of a case of the tires?

unsprung weight is not the problem. The wheels help performance, have it load and height aligned with more neg camber link kit your choice, lensolo speedybenz whoever makes one for you model.Have you done per above and tracked it and measured tire temps and played with pressure?A few lbs. change front and rear can do wonder to bring that tail back into line.Where are you driving that it is getting that squirrelly?
