THE blower thread
I say a thread that AMS said replacing the secondaire with hi-flows is worth that, can't seem to find it again.
If I were to stick 100% N/A and try to dip deep into the 12's..... I'd have test pipes made for the 2ndary cats, you can bolt-in, take out. heck I'd have a custom off-road x-pipe from the headers to the catback with no cats for that matter... Bolt-on, then get a tune for the offroad, exhaust. Sticky tires and get after it.

10whp for high flow secondaires on a M113 in a W210 E55, and looks like hooleyboy picked up 13whp/19wtq from deleting the secondaries.
Seems the X-pipe helped abit as well. I will have to talk to a shop to see what can be fabbed. An extra 15whp would be superb. Really don't want the car any louder than it is so it will most likely have HFCs.
In my experience on other cars going completely catless is only worth 1-2whp.
Deep 12's sure would be nice though, but I'll be content with 12.999@110.00
* I tried adjusting the FMU to elim the LTFT's going up after cruising. I got LTFT's down to 15/16. Still too lean for me.
* Starting inspecting things and found header nuts loose, and one missing on the bank 1 side. Aha! That will make the bank 1 o2 sensor uphappy.
* As long as I was down there, I pulled the plugs and they are fouled, I suspect unhappy with the bad O2 affects on the tuning. So new plugs on order.
The plugs in it are Bosch Super R6 988 gapped at .032".
Is this the correct cold plug for my klee application?
Someone please LMK what plugs you're running in your klee clk55's.

Plugs, ex nuts on order.
Do Klee headers just use stock MB ex gaskets?

Okay or not, I'm still curious as to why it spikes and will be contacting Kleemann directly to ask the question.
Give me your thoughts.

*4500rpm spike 12.9-13. I would not run it that way.
I would get it sorted.
I'm getting my own STAR system and will report how that works for me.... you may want to invest in your own setup for diagnosing issues, and CHECKING your tune in the realworld.
A sloppy tuner will just tune @ WOT on the dyno in perfect conditions to give you the max hp/tq on a sheet of paper.
A good tuner will do this AND drive/monitor the car for a few days to check the state of things in the real world under all driving conditions. There is a big diff between one cooled down WOT run on a dyno..... and a heatsoaked run in 100deg F.... or part throttle runs.......... I'm convinced the part throttle/low rpm high boost instances are the risky areas for our cars.... NOT WOT. When I finally did some logging with fuelpress/boost on the street I was amazed at how this blower puts out 7-8psi at any rpm with the romp of the foot...... if your tune is not up to snuff.. you can have lean issues in areas you would not expect.
Also tightened up header collector bolts, all were loose.
Also managed to recover the tools I've lost over the last 2 days onto the bottom engine pan
Glad to have those back.Just waiting on my new plugs, then road test.
I'm swapping out COMAND for an aftermarket unit and I'd sure like to be able to have everything on one screen.
Cheers
Dashdaq data-logs from the OBDII Port giving base-line rpm.....
Zeitronics offers all the adders: wideband AFR, boost, fp, etc.....
You can link all the zeitronics data into the Dashdaq and have real-time vid display on the suction cup mount and/or record (data-log) and playback after a run.
Is this what you have?

I did not buy the bundle, I bought everything seperate.
The bundle is the way to go.
......
I used my spark plug sand-blaster cleaner tool, regapped, tighten the tips down (they were loose).
Went out for a run with all ex leaks and plugs cleaned..... and same deal LTFT's ramp up to 15/16 after about 30 mins of driving. NO CEL, but the LTFT's are too high.
So back to the drawing board.
Next week I'll pick up my star multiplexer from shardul, and get to analyzing my ecu while driving to see what's going on.
Once I get this tune figured out...... it is track time.
Hoping to join the 11sec club real soon!
.....
I'm leaning towards Kleeman, bigger heat exchanger and pump, my PTE cams, and fresh tune.
IF the shorty headers I just bought are holding me back, I'll swap them out for some of the fancy kleeman mid-length jobs with the downpipes
