Tire Size for Vossen Wheels...

Purchased set of Vossen for my CLS550. The vehicle is lowered as you can see in the picture. I am little undecided in regards to the tires in the rear.

Front: 255/30-20
Rear: 305/25-20

I have been told that choosing 305 for rear will slightly rub and 295 would be the recommanded choice. I read few posts from other members and it seems that they don't have any issues with 305. I personally want to run 305's in the rear and would love to get some opinion or experiences that you might have.

I do have lowering module. Its just I have a habit of lowering down the car where in the rear the fender covers small amount of the tire. The front, very similar to the rear as well (fender leveled with the tire). So I want to make sure, I keep that set up once the vossen's are set up. Therefore, I want to get the best section width for the front and for the rear.

The vossens are not going to be completely flush with the fenders so 305's should be fine . I have vossen cv7's with 305's and lowered no rubbing at all. Plus when i have people out back the airmatic automatically raises about an inch

Front: 32et
Rear: 42et

Front 20 x 9
Rear 20 x 10.5

You mean hella flush? I love the look but I really want to avoid doing any fender rolls. Would you recommend 295 for the rear instead?

Perfect, 255/30/20 and 305/25/20 it is.

Actually I just confirmed my front wheels are +25 but I am not worried about my front tires. I will still go with 255/30/20 and still slam it.

Thank you!

So did you actually get the 305s on the car? How did it work out?

A lot of the members said that it will not rub. However, I do slam the car at times and therefore I went with 295s. Spoke with Vossen Wheels before purchasing the tires and they said if you slam the vehicle its better to go with 295s. If you do go with 305s, let me know how that works out.

Does the speedo require any calibration to accommodate these tire size changes or are these close enough to stock diameter?

Is there software that will allow us to calibrate speedo on our car if we run larger tires?
