Sorry for the miss, blew right past it viewing from phone. Hopefully that helps the OP.
OP-call dealer and mention your concern, give them you VIN, and they can easily look up if this bulletin applies to your car. If not, get it in anyway to find the source of leak!

If you post your VIN I can tell you if your car applies.
I have replaced one for a leak due to that bulletin. Not really a big deal, but since dealers aren't yet allowed to service those Getrag units in house, we get a whole new/reman one to put in and ship the old one back to be repaired by Getrag eventually.

Are the replacement units factory new or are they actually refurbished units at this early age? Are there even furbished units available being that this is such a new model?

I'm sure they aren't listed as remanufactured but if they are being sent back for a leaking seal, I highly doubt Getrag is throwing them in the garbage. The same models are used in multiple vehicles, and it has been around since the SLS so it's not really "new"

ItalianJoe has already made it know that if you need a replc4ment DCT it will be either new, or remanufactured:

Its not only a seal problem, its a hardware problem. First 733 GT are afected.
Yed SLS have the same gearbox and Ferrari 458, 488 Ferrari FF and other models. But many parts inside changes over the years.

Interesting. I complained about a hypoid oil smell from the rear fenders ever since I bought the car. During the last service call I had them check it. My master technician went as far as removing the transaxle to see if any seals were leaking. I do not see any physical leaks. But it is worth taking another look next time (or myself for that matter).
