OFSSET PICTURES&SET UP THREAD
ie a 35 series tire on a 18" instead of a 30 series on an 19 etc.
As has been mentioned, you need to stay within a couple % or your traction control will be screwed up.
But 18, 19, 20....no matter, the offset should be the same.
I want a look that has the wheels flush with the fenders or maybe just slightly in... with those offset are the rims going to be too far in and not flush? would they work?
New member to the forum, but this is the setup i’ve been running on my E400 4MATIC for the past 8 months. My local performance shop is an absolute wizard for confidently being able to make this setup work properly and safely.
H&R Lowering Springs
Vertini RFS1.3 RotaryFlow Forged wheels
20x9 fronts on 245/35/20
20x10 rears on 285/25/20
Nitto Invo tires
I know the question everyone will ask is, does it rub? Absolutely no rubbing in the front, even at full lock. In the rears however, initially it was rubbing but only when there was a deep dip in the pavement. It was corrected by my performance shop by slightly curving upwards the part of the rear body that tucks into the wheel well. That is about as well that I could describe it but it was done professionally and looks literally untouched as it did from the factory. No issues with rubbing since then.
As I said in the beginning, i’ve been running this setup for the past almost 9 months with no issues. Thankfully my local Florida roads are not bad so this works fine as my daily driver putting little mileage on it. I’m young so i’m not too bothered by a stiff ride, dodging the occasional pothole, etc. It is a very aggressive setup and most definitely is not for everyone but I love the way the car sits and it’s a big head turner and compliment-getter everywhere I go.

or
19x8.5" et33 245/40/19
I'm currently running 245/35/19 et33 and wanted to get more sidewall to match my rears. I have no rubbing at all up front with this but not sure how much space I can afford here.

How did this setup run that you posted? Vossen CV1. 19x10 front and rear. Not sure if anyone else put 10 wide in the fronts.

I have available for my 2009 C207 the following, 8.5*19 ET34.5 and 9.5*19 ET48. The current tyres on these wheels are 255/35 & 285/30 and they come from a C218.
If I leave my car at stock height I believe I can put on 245/35 and 275/30 without any rubbing back or front whatsoever, correct?
Can I get away with the 285/30's in the back? I understand the 255/35's are too big for the front.
If I drop it with springs, can I use 245/35 and 275/30 or will the tyres need to be 235/35 and 265/30?
Thanks in advance!

I don't think they would have worked. I have on 235/35s, and with an ET of 34.5 they are flush. 255/35 would have been too much for my liking.

Brakes from the w204 c63 are direct bolt up on rear and I had the black bracket made to convert the fronts from the c63
More pics..

GMP in Charlotte did the c63 brake conversion, KW coilovers and a set of Kleeman headers. As part of that they did x-pipe, resonator delete, cutouts and the mufflers were left stock. I replaced the chrome quad tips in these pictures with black ones to go with the all the black out I had done.
