Possible Modifications to 1991 300ce?
You might want to also remove your center silencer and just run the rear unit.
This will give you a slight improvement in performance while maintaining your state emissions requirement. "
. I am quite tempted by the Rial Ravennas, I am not sure why. They just strike me as being very attractive, same with the Borbet LS rims, but someone on here already has those
. I wanna do something a little different with my CE.Ugh, why does this stuff have to be so hard? I want to see these rims in person, I think that would give me a better idea if they could work on my car. But where to do this?
So here goes, I have a favor to ask of anyone that is willing to help me out. I'm considering getting a 32gb Creative Zen (http://reviews.cnet.com/mp3-players/...ml?tag=box4505) for use in my car. It measures thusly: 3.3 inches (width) by 2.1 inches (height) by 0.4 inch (depth). Would this fit in the ash-tray area in our cars with relative ease? I don't smoke, and never will, nor will I allow smoking in my car, so the loss of the ash-tray is a non-issue. I don't however want to lose the wood cover to the ash-tray if possible. So yeah, if someone could look and see if something of that size would fit please let me know! When I get home in 2 weeks I will measure myself, but I'd like to know in advance so I can jump on any good deals if they present themselves.
Thanks a ton guys!

[It does not show well in the image, but I plan to keep the star on the center-cap silver as well as the very outer lip on the rims, and the red portion is body color, or as close as I can get it.]
Edit: Minor tweak to the close-up. I realized when looking at the rim that it'd be nigh on impossible to have it black on the lip inside the 15-holes, so I made that whole section red like the hole spokes.
Thanks!

It seems like you're on the verge of changing your stock rims for something more cool to look at.
But you have a problem. Limited cash.
And I quite understand and have the same problem myself.
So, if you change your rims, you are most unlikely to be able to afford anything close to the quality of your original rims. You will land up with some cheap chrome/bling/whatever rubbish in place of a set of high grade alloy rims.
Many aftermarket rims are heavier than standard so the advantage of alloy is compromised.
The best suggestion I've seen is what you are now proposing - paint the originals.
That way they look revolting but no more so than the cheap aftermarket jobs. And the original quality lives on!
The ideal compromise.
All the very best with your tastey motor.

Oh well, rolling on new front rims and old stockies for the rear for right now lol. Car looks... interesting...
STLe, what lugs are you using to not have any lock on the rear drum brake? Please help a noobie -_-
Thanks for the compliments guys! I really liked them, but I liked being able to drive my car more so I have them in the trunk right now waiting for me to find the proper lugs.
