Transmission question. Definitive answer needed ASAP please.
The following is a quote from an ad that I am seriously considering purchasing a tranny from:
"for sale each four reconditioned benz automatic transmissions fits 190e,260e and 300e 1986-1990 all come with torque converter. excellent condition."
Will this fit my 1991 300e?

Rivcal, are you looking to get a different tranny with different rear diff/final drive for better acceleration? or is this a preventative move to prevent your current tranny from stranding you somewhere?

My current tranny does not have reverse.
I get stranded everywhere I go.
I actually just bought one from here:
