When I lived overseas the SsanYong brand was common although the Korean made MBs retained the MB badging. It was cool because they had a 10 passenger van, 8 passenger SUV (Musso), and a sport utility truck all of which utilized the trusty inline six diesel. Don't let the fact its manufactured in Korea deter you. These things held up well especially given the road conditions and horrible traffic you had to deal with on a daily basis.

the musso's used to have a HUGE sticker in the back window that said 'powered by mercedes benz'...!
the koreans 'recycle' old cars a lot, at least in this case they changed the way it looks. daewoo bought the rights to the acura legend, and sold it as the 'daewoo arcadia'. http://www.carsplusplus.com/car/pict...y.php?id=76924 at least this way i guess some of the old favorites can live a little longer...
