IT takes a bit of work but you can "brew" about 100 - 200 gallons at a time and it stores for about 4 - 6 months.
With the W124 diesel you don't even need to brew it. Just mix fresh cooking oil with normal diesel (50:50) and you're good to go. Lots of people in the UK do it now that diesel is £1.30/ltr ($10/us gallon) and cooking oil is less than £1/ltr.
You can even use neat, used cooking oil provided you filter all the bits out.

I have 2 12" Kicker L7's in a ported box tuned to 34hz with an adjustable port to tune it to different hertz. They're powered by a Hifonics Brutus 1600 watt amp wired down to 1 ohm. The whole system is ran with 1/0 gauge wire. And I have a 1.2 farad capacitor..even though it doesn't help lol.

And as for your system cutting out, it could either be a safety issue (head-unit turning it off) or your amp is getting too hot. If it's the amp, you can easily get a fan to keep it cool

STL doesn't your trunk rattle when you turn it up? I did some mods to my rear shelf to make the bass clearer and louder where rattling is so minimal. 800watts class d mono is good for me.

How many voice coils are on your subs? what ohms are they? Maybe you have a weak amp or wired the subs wrong.

About that rattle....just use a lot of dynamat and expanding foam.....

My system right now is weak but clean....900w rms to a single treo 10" ssi sub...

I really need a 150amp alternator but eh...i don't bump music that much anymore...

I just used A LOT of dynamat and expanding foam. I removed my rear speakers so I could have ports coming into the cabin

Also, I forgot to mention my subs are DVC and 4 ohm.

Can someone tell me how much the bolt diameter is and what bolt pattern do these cars have? After the rims I may be getting some wheel spacers too so that my car can look more aggressive

is it your whole system shutting off of just the bass?
because if it's just the bass it's your amp most likely, but if it's the whole thing then it's something in the head unit. most likely a safety function.

I really like that grill. I will have to add that to my buy list this summer once my misfire is resolved. I've got a little chunk missing in the front of mine anyway, so it needs to be replaced.

Berti, You should match the rms of you sub to your amp. If you have a 600wrms sub with a 300w max amp it's gonna go into protection sec after you turn it on. if your sub has dual voice coils and you wire it down to 2ohms it's gonna cut off. You mostly likely have a AB class amp which aren't good for anyhting below 2ohms. Get a class D amp and match the rms of the sub to your amp...

I remember seeing a guy here before use a rattle can to paint his lower cladding, how long is that good for? I don't think he had to worry about even strokes cause the color was black. Is there a such thing as clear coat from a spray can?
