Major Update w/Teaser Pics

So, as some of you might remember my 124 got rear ended by a dodge ram.....https://mbworld.org/forums/e-class-w...ear-ended.html

Well she came out of the body shop in great condition!!
1. R-codes Installed w/ clear corners
2. Wiper delete panels Installed
3. H&R springs Installed
4. Bilstien HD's Installed
5. Smoked LED Tails Installed
6. Aftermarket inner Grille.
7. All damage fixed and paint in better condition.

I then ordered a set of brand new 17inch Carlsson 1/6's off ebay and they are installed, wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sports PS2's

Did an entire system update and replaced the broken JVC head unit with the Alpine IDA-X001 w/Alpine SCH-634 6-Disc CD changer and Pioneer 5.25” speaker into the rear deck of the vehicle. The doors are already Pioneer and the front dash speakers are replacement rainbow audio speakers. They also mounted the Focal 13inch sub to the floor with wingnuts and stealth mounted the amps underneath the rear deck.

The headliner had also begun to droop, so we replaced it with a fake suede headliner which matches the grey interior perfectly. Believe me when I tell you though, you would never know its fake!!

We also did low beam HID's but are going to have to do the projector mod, I thought I could get around it, but the light pattern is not very efficient.

I still have the AMG GEN2 kit, bought off RHW, sitting in PA. I'm most likely going to wait to install this until I bring the car back from FL and get cracking on the twin turbo setup.

My biggest issue right now is the gap between the headlights and hood/grille, I am most likely going to look for a 94+ salvage hood and then buy a set of euro headlights in case I want to switch back to 93 hood.

OK, so here are the only 2 pics I have right now..... will have more this weekend.....

Before:

--Dont worry the badge in the grille is coming off asap!!---

After:

My only issue now is....I NEED CAMBER HELP!! I tried to contact K-Mac for their bushings but have gotten no response!!

Renntech said they would make me a set but thats gonna be $$$$

any suggestions??

/OT
Thought you guys might enjoy these.....
(the more pics in a thread the better IMO)

New Ride for my Lil Bro..... 957 (09) Turbo S

TONS of mods are in the mail as I type!!...Including a Brembo GT kit for me!! Which means the W124 gets my stock 955 Cayenne Turbo brakes!!!!!!!!!

Austin is the right answer.
I am currently holding his fender roller to ship to the next 124 owner in need.

Beautiful work.

Looks amazing! 1/6's are sharp as hell, sharp enough to rival Mono II's on the W124!!

P.S.
Ron,
I'll be in touch in regards to that fender roller. When the monos go back on for the summer I NEED to roll the rear....my poor Potenzas!

yea, Appatula, that's why it landed here, those et31 18s were rubbing, not now.

He asks for like a $25 donation and you pay shipping. I used it on 3 cars, so well worth it. $250+ to buy the tool.

Cayenne, I absolutely love the rims, what size are they? (Been watching for those for ever)

looks great

I really like the update headlights with the early model hood and S600 style grill. If there were only some easy way to fill that gap between the headlights and the grill, I would do the same on my 400E. Anyone know of a solution without buying the newer style hood?

Your car is super sharp.

2 quick cell shots from FL......

2 more months and she will finally go into retirement!! aka....be in my hands back in PA....

waiting for install......

AMG GEN2 kit
Brabus Exhaust
Benzboy camber arms ( thanks to appatula)
94 hood

Going to have to do some sort of seat upgrade the drivers controls are all out of wack and the seat is 200k worn.... so that could be fun....thinking something out of a newer mb

The only issue Im having now is with my HIDs, the pattern is horrible out of the lights.....so im going to have to retrofit, been reading the old threads.... also...kind of dredding it....

one kinda funny thing....
.....my side markers keep flying off the car!!! we even used some glue to keep them in... gonna have to get more creative when she comes home!!

I also picked these up......Authentic tooooo!

just gotta switch the hubcentric ring back to benz haha

Whats up everyone!!

Wanted to finally post another update..... The project is moving slow, but is moving forward....

So, the W124 is back in PA and will start getting built this winter...

Here are some random pics, I snapped this summer....

I finally took off the Benz mileage emblem from the hood and installed the Brabus muffler, which had to be mounted lower for clearance issues, but will be tightened up when the AMG kit gets installed.

Parts waiting to be installed:
1. Benzboy Camber arms
2. Authentic AMG kit
3. Momo Steering wheel
4. AMG shiftknob
5. Authentic AMG Spoiler
6. Authentic AMG 2 piece mono II's
7. 95 E320 hood / Trunk

There is also a slow/small leak coming from the lower oil pan.... current mileage is 197,345, but ive put 1000miles on the car since finding it with no issue ......Working on what will be the motor replacement.

The radiator also busted back in FL (Right before I was going to drive her home) so brand new OEM radiator and piping. So I rented a Tahoe and towed her back up..... Uploaded with ImageShack.us

I will be sure to update, as the build begins!!
