Whats the difference between the 400e and 500e hp wise?? and difference in car i thought the 500ewas the only v8 I got alot of learning still !!!

It's identically optioned to mine. I bought mine three years ago with 73k one owner miles for $7250. This is a tremendous deal. I have 146k on mine now and it's still tight as a drum.

the 92 400E made 268 HP and the 93 400E 275 (4.2 M119)
also they upgraded the front rotors from 22.4mm to 25mm thickness (.99 in) after 11/92 production year shared with 94-95 E320/E420
not sure what years
but the 500E versions were (IIRC) 92-93 315 HP & 94 322 HP (5.0 M119)
also the 500E had many performance mods because Mercedes had an engineering partnership with Porsche specifically for that model

did they make the 500e in 95, it seems weird, because if im not mistaken i thought that they started making the w210 e55 in 97 which means that mercedes never had a mid level super car for 3 years. Seems that by todays standards when a new body style comes out they keep producing the older one if they have not developed an engine for it yet, ie the last generation m3 was produced at least a year after the new sedan came out
