I screwed up bad, hit the curb
I was fooling around last night, fishtailing down the street, and gunning it back and forth at 3 am.
Unfortunately, I hit the curb head on at about 60 mph. Now I have this vibration everytime I go over 45 mph. Sucks
What's bent? Anyone with similar problem?

Warning
Power tends to corrupt; absolute power corrupts absolutely.
A.Youth.You goofed,you faced up to it,move on
B.You need to get it on a lift and examine the underside.
C.Don't drive it until you do.
D.Look for bent control arms, torn suspension bushings,,inspect oil pan, transmission,Everything back past the point of impact.
E.Bent rims are the most likely victim of the hit and run
F.Most of us have been there

You must have kerm.
The control arm is designed to absorb the energy of the impact to keep the car from going over the curb. so i'm almost positive that it is bent. if you're lucky you didn't twist the frame but i wouldn't worry about that too much as long as you can get the wheels aligned it won't matter. I would check the shock too just to be sure it is not bent. If you're a DIYer it is not that hard to swap out the control arm with a new one. I wouldn't bother looking for a used one as they go for about the same as the new ones unless you can find a good deal on one.
are you thinking of getting it covered by the insurance? if so the one thing they do is quote it with used parts and if they do pay attention to the prices and compare them with new. alot of times you'll end up with better pricing on new parts.
Good luck and don't spill kerms.

I was thinking it was the control arm as well.
Damn, just changed those *******s and got it aligned. Oh well, at least I'm not in jail. Another weekend down the drain.

Did
your father tell you he was going to
Enqadr seft bezanamet keh barq as cewmet bepareh.
It conjures up visions of hilarity.Or did he tell you it's only metal and we can fix it.As long as you are okay

I had a good friend when I was in the Navy during the Vietnam war and he always said that. The loose translation into English always made me smile.

Despite hearing this for years I just tried to visualize it... having a hard time at the "barq as koonet bepareh" part.
