Hello, new guy here. So my mom just gave me her car with 240k on it. It has a little vibration in park and after coming to a stop but drives and sounds ok at speed. I was thinking Motor mounts might be bad, looking at the engine with someone reving the engine it looks like it rolls a little more than it should.
So my question, shoud i replace the mounts?
should i change tranny and engine fluids/filters (there due)
or just drive her till she dies?

DIY

you are looking at under $400 to replace mounts, change trans fluid and oils.Your upside is a nice running E430 with a robust engine that could easily last over another 100K miles or more. Down side is listen to more of Plutoes inane advice and drive it till it dies shortly.
Take your pick a $400 simple maintenance or take the dumb way out.
If $400 is not cheap to maintain you are asking the wrong guy for advice. I.e. Plutoe as usual.
Word to the wise,Merry Christmas to all.

Thanks ohlord for the realistic advice. I ordered the trans kit, dipstick and oil filter from autohaus. i could not find the motormounts, where is the best place to get these? I also read the DIY threads over on Benzworld.org for all of these procedres. Good stuff on here, thanks guys for the help

Also, FYI, The car is for my daughter who is turning 16 soon, so I am not a youngster who's mom pays for mantinance

Well then definitely take care of the easy/ big items. You want your daughter to be safe, and not stranded on the side of the road somewhere.
