How many miles on your W211?

It was on the older I6.
My current V6 is running well, no problems so far, just usual serviceable items, poly v-belt will need replacing soon though, brake pads are still fine (last replaced at 93,000 miles), ball joints have a little play in them.
By this evening, it will have rolled over to 148,000 miles!

1. 2003 E320
2. 81k
3. bilateral lower ball joints, bilateral struts, leaking valve cover gaskets, heater control valve
I found all this stuff and more scheduled maintenance when I purchased this car two weeks ago and took it in for the heater valve. I will chip away at these issues, but otherwise I still love my car.

still not at the 100k yet. 97979. I only have a slight squeak when AC is on and I turn the wheel. I replaced Vbelt three weeks ago, not fixed. Other than that; I have had my 03 since April 2006 with 42k and has been flawless.

About 87,000 miles now
Some new stuff to add, unfortunately:
-Front ball joints
-Front bushings
-Control arms (about another year left according to my shop)
-Center speaker (just went out, first gonna try the felt thing)
-Red battery message (probably aux battery, damn SBC system)

191,000 05 CDI Euro Delivery
-Front ball joints (easy home repair)
-Front bushings
-All glow plugs at 40k
-Now have idiot light for #5 glow plug
-Water pump and pulley. (forced to drive 120 miles on freeway with no serp belt, or alt, but temp was 5 F, so eng stayed cool. Shut car off 500 yards from dealer at top of freeway exit ramp/traffic light, where red light stopped the car and ended air cooling!)
-Front springs, LH rotted out, replaced both.
-Still on second set of rotors and pads.
Still getting 40 MPG on highway!

2007 E320 CDI Bluetec
Starting Out With '07 E 320 Bluetec
Bought 54K mile '07 Bluetec 3 weeks ago. Was trade in at local VW dealer. Only made "final" deal after local MB dealer did $230 pre-inspection. Guy who owned car must have been ****, never drove in winter, immaculate condition but no service records. Inspection + car condition told me to buy at price $2K below Kelley Blue Book. Car was smog illegal in MA in '07, but all is OK. I love the car...already has 4 coats of Meguiars #26 Yellow wax on it.
I think the 7G-Tronic has issue with same control mapping in both COMFORT and SPORT settings. Always starts in 1st gear ( like S ), but always rapidly short shifts up ( like C ). Still have ~~ 36 days ~~ left on 60 day used car warranty, so gotta get back to MB dealer for quick check out. I do not want VW dealer to play with 7G if there is an issue. Car was "sometimes" serviced at the same local MB dealer...the trans was serviced at 43K miles ( 40K was called for ). Hope he used the right oil ( Mobil 1 ESP M5W-40 ). Everything else ( except for CD that jumps like mad on bumps ) seems A-OK.
Reading this 11 page W211 thread is interesting. "take deep breath, keep toes forward, and start marching >> hoping for good luck.

2009 E63 bought new with 8 miles on it. Now at 25k miles after two years and 3 months. Just regular service and oil changes. So far, so good. It's my daily driver and grocery getter. I do think these cars like to be driven. But who knows what might happen as time and mileage increases. I'll keep my fingers crossed.....
btw, no complaint with fuel consumption. If I drive like a normal human being, I can get good mpg considering the displacement of this 6.2 liter V8. The 7 speed tranny helps a lot. This is after a 200 mile cruise with mixed driving in C mode. Back roads, a little bit of freeway and some stop and go. And a couple of throttle mashes.

Thanks for sharing. I would once again respectfully request everyones participation on TrueDelta. This is a VERY valuable resource that provides a dynamic perspective of vehicle reliability by the owners for the life of the vehicle. Makes JD Powers and others appear to be without any real merit.

Thanks in advance for your cooperation.
P.S. This data will make you glad you did not buy a Jaguar or an Audi.
