You get the point. Now granted some of this has to do with user error and such but K&N filter technology is probably not the best idea on these cars.

The only thing is, I hate the tips on that thing. I'll probably rub it like it comes for a week to see if I like the sound or not. If it's a keeper, I'll have the muffler shop cut the tips off and fit the stock single amg tips on it.
I managed to tweak the hangers to adjust the muffler higher, but I ran into another problem. The top of the mufflers hit the heat shield on top before the tips are high enough to look good.
So the only solution is this. Adjust the mufflers so there is about 1.5" of room on top, cut the oval remus tips completely off, and have the muffler shop fit either new tips, or my stock AMG tips on the remus cans. Im probably going to go with the latter option.
That was the bitter part, now here is the really sweet part.
The mufflers sound absolutely amazing. NO DRONE sound at all at any rpm in the cabin. Heck, with the radio on normal volume, its hard to tell the car has an aftermarket exhaust from inside the car. But its a different story outside, pure orgasmic sound! This is what I love about Remus exhausts on a Mercedes, the sound!
Here is a short clip from different angles. The sound in the video doesn't do the real world sound any justice, but you will get the idea.
And here is a very ****ty enhanced night time pic of how they look on the car in case the video was too dark.
