yea that's why the e55 guys swap to those, yours must just flow a lot better. It is noticeable though. I think I've seen your video on youtube actually, not nearly as loud as yours.
Changed passenger side ballast. Bought it from parts geek (226.00) dealer "my cost" 495.00. Originally got a used one from eBay for a $100 and it would take about a minute to self level, another eBay flop!!
Change oil a little late for my standards at around 4K usually did it every 3k

Do these new ballast need programming or something because it's not leveling or turning?

I've never seen it this low or even close after flooring it. 16 mpg has been the lowest and I check from time to time. Would a fuel sender/clogged filter effect mpg? I noticed I filled up sat. Night and probably drove a 100 mile round trip and maybe 50-60 miles around town and I was completely empty by Tuesday...not normal and 202k I'd assume filter could be pretty clogged

Purchased 4 new tires yesterday b/c Sumitomo tires are worthless in the snow (fantastic in rain or dry though). Put on ExtremeContact DWS06. Got alignment while I was at it.
Even with traction control off it took effort to slide sideways now!!!! LOVE these tires. My RWD feels every bit in control as she was designed to be.
*Completely agree with the posts above; 2 hours and only 10 miles. Of course mpg will be way low. I also lost at least 3 mpg with cold weather.
I think winter blends of gasoline yield 1.7-2% lower fuel economy in the cold weather. Also, your engine will take longer to warm up and probably run richer during each start up cycle wasting more fuel until it's at operating temperature. I see about the same difference, Gersh, in cold weather, and always have. When the roads are bad, it's even worse, probably due to people drive at a stop-and-go pace when it's icy out.

I got my fuel tank replaced for free as well. Dealer told me since I have a PZEV engine, anything emissions related (i.e., if "check engine" light comes on) is fully covered to 150,000 miles. Not sure if this is California only.
^Running those as well, one failed but he sent me another and they've been working fine ever since.
As for what I did to the W211 today, new alternator at the shop (bought a reman unit), took care of a bad o-ring causing a power-steering leak, and fixed an oil cooler leak finally.
Need to run by the dealership and pick up cam plugs at some point.
Installed yellow fog lamp bulbs, smoked side markers, HIDS, and weather tech rain guards.
Next: engine/trans mount. lower ball joints. cam/centrifuge cover. leaking upper radiator hose. leaking low pressure line coming off steering rack, for some reason its leaking at the crimp fitting, very strange. Ill snap pics of that sometime this week because i have never seen one leak before...
