Nice wheels. Are they 20's?

Honestly do not really like how they look with the car currently (maybe if it was lowered, or the calipers were a different color - gold?).

But anyway, that's just my opinion. Enjoy!

true, I'm looking for coils yet. Not a finished product but just thought to share it.
I'm waiting a little to find coils or i might wait a little to get those, maybe find used ones that are in good condition. Only color they had for calipers were red or blue, so red i did.

I'll also be putting on new rotors n brake pads...silver ones later prolly in summer cuz 1, current ones are fading 2. they look rusty and just doesnt match up the paint

yes 20x9 n 20x10.5

and the owner gave me a pass, said if i want a diff color, they'll repaint it later. Plus the rear calipers arent that big..sigh.. haha

I was thinking of..yes gold (they didn't had it that time) or light lime greenish.

Definitely take your time and buy coils that are worth the money. I have had several cars with cheap-ish coils and it is one of the worst things you can do to yourself. Combine cheap suspension with huge wheels and you have a combination you will regret every single time you climb into the car.

Red usually works with silver - however the tiny bright calipers themselves compared to the huge dark wheels makes for a poor combination. That is why a more subtle color would work better - gold or bronze will probably work best.

All in all the E-class is a big and classy looking car. Mods on the more subtle side will always end up looking better as an overall package. I would stay away from bright flashy colors such as lime green that you mentioned. If this was a GTI, WRX or somesuch it would be different story.

Yup. My cousin bought coils for like 300-400 bucks from the start-up company and told me to stay away from them lol I was thinking lowering springs would do the job but I have a lot of space in front to cover and coils would do best. My plan was to get springs, $200-300, my friend will install, and later buy 07-09 sport bumper or e55 amg bumper....if i get coils, which i will, bumper is out of the list now lol Depends on how much it costs me...

Caliper color..yea i was really thinking about gold...i have to check out bronze though and see.

Wrapped my blemished steering wheel with a leather cover from AliExpress and swapped out the airbag to a black one purchased from the Bay to complete the look.

Linked up with fellow MBWORLD member mertd93 and did my oil change with the panzer of funnels. He also installed and coded the folding mirror option. I'll make a vid later. Check him out for any option or maintenance you want done to your w211. He does great work.

What was needed for the power folding mirrors? Everything I've read you need the mirror motor and remove the current mirrors and swap. I think they were 300 a pop.

Thanks

Yea enabling power fold under special functions in star. I wish I could find the motors cheaper. At almost 700 for the mirrors and then cabin switch it's not worth it to me. I do search eBay but nothing pops up mumost of the time..lol

This mod a couple years in the making. Just recently the driver side motor was procured. So no major sticker shock. I'm glad I got it

Pulled the charcoal filters out of the intake. It definitely feels like it's making a bit more power. Dyno results posted here by others have shown up to 18hp at the wheels.

Before anyone asks, only the 63 AMG cars have these filters.

Side Mirrors

Nigel, check this out, sure they are not oem, but heck for the price and the setup is a steal I must say. Just need the side mirror switch and code on das.
Can even sell yours afterwards.

Not today, I did it couple weeks ago. I forgot to post in here.

The best maintenance I did so far on my W211 is the replacement of Engine mounting and transmission mounting. I recommend everyone who hasnt replaced it. You will appreciate it.

my car feels silky smooh, it has even less vibration (almost none) compared to my barely new BMW X5 and X6.

To install the mounts...Did you remove the Exhaust or Alternator/AC?

Sure, it's a luminous ignition surround purchased from AliExpress.
