have trouble codes checked. It could be the CPS. Not expensive.

DO you have pressure to the fuel rail. This happened to me once and it was the fuel pump. Not to hard of a R&R if this is what it is. The hardest part was getting the fuel level low enough to remove the pump.

Is this the correct Crank position sensor replacement procedure for the 06 e350? This shows it was done on an AMG...

Its maybe the camshaft pos. sensor. Also have codes checked first and don't waste time and money on parts not needed. Make sure shop has a code reader for Mercedes that will give you details on exactly what is wrong.

Checked fuel pump fuse and relay which was fine. Had battery tested which came back a good battery and had it charged. He would like to purchase a code reader for the e350. What code reader do you recommend? Post a link please...

Can a bad aux. Battery cause the car not to start? He had the car scanned with a proper scanner for mercedes. The main thing that the guy who came to scan the car pointed out was a bad aux battery.

I am having the same problem but my car cranks and tries to start but it seems like it's trying to get gas but it's not enough pressure also when I open the gas , gas cap to fill up no pressure releases when I open the cap it starts after I prime the fuel pump the second time . Does anyone recommend a good Mercedes scanner to read my e500 and also a scanner for my airmatic system any help would be greatly appreciated .

You need to call around to Euro repair shops someone must have a copy of DAS Xentry to do your diagnostics---if not, you then know where never, repeat never to take you car for repair!!

FYI:If you have other issues start a new thread as this is not that

At 190k km and no fuel getting to my fuel rail I presumed my fuel pump went bad however after replacing the fuel pump / fuel filter the car still wouldn't start .

I checked the rail and still no fuel which pointed me to the harness . Upon closer inspection and numerous testing I diagnosed the problem as a bent pin on the harness side not making proper contact with the fuel pump .

I cleaned the pin up and put a slight twist on the pin using a pair of long nose pliers so it could lock in properly and establish a proper connection.
