Another new E550
Ok, so here is our new E550. Ordered August 15, delivered October 19. Specs are: E550 Sport, black leather, black ash, P2, Pano Roof, drive dynamic seat, parktronic, split folding seats, roof and trunk spoiler, I also got them to throw in an extra set of TPMS sensors and the flat hood emblem.
In case if anyone is wondering, the spoilers come painted and are installed at the VPC, not sure if Mercedes gets a tax break for that or what. There was a bubble in the paint on the roof spoiler and they had to repaint it. I got an extra set of side markers and had them paint those as well. Not as dark as I would have liked, but looks much better than stock.
If anyone is searching on this, the bulb must come out before the side marker comes out! The first took a while to figure out, the second only about 15 mins.
The wheels are 20" EXE Images. 20x8.5 in the front and 20x9.5 in the rear. 245/35 and 275/30. The wheels fit perfectly, there is no rubbing what so ever with the Toyo tires. The fronts are a 35 offset. We were worried they would stick out, but as you can see they are perfect and clear the caliper.
The car is stock height with the airmatic suspension in sport mode.

Thanks for the comments.
Side Markers - I took the bulb out of the socket and wrapped it in heat resistant tape and zip tied it out of the way, I did this in my W203 when I got the euro rub strips and never had a problem. The paint is light enough so that some light would have definitely come through, but I didn't test it.
The ride - a little stiffer than stock, but very comfortable. Haven't given it a handling test yet..
The roof and trunk spoilers are the stock options. I ordered them with the car.
So far I am really happy with the car, the V8 is very fast indeed. We just turned 1,000mi on the clock, so I've just started really opening it up. I do agree the styling is polarizing, but I love it. The front end is agressive and looks pissed off. Much different than the W211, which really didn't do much for me.
Interior is nice, drive dynamic seat is great. Wish we could have gotten it on the passenger side too. The only thing that I don't like about the interior is the sun visors. Cheap! My truck has better visors and lights. That is a small complaint though.
